What does the town do to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who hold meetings at homes?

I expected that this was a story from England. How sad that it is taking place in our own country. Rise up, Christians and America will be blessed for it.

I’m appalled that people are saying, “Pretend it’s a bridge club,” or “Just say everyone’s meeting to watch football and happened to bring their Bibles.” They shouldn’t HAVE to lie or pretend!! For one thing, lying is a sin, and for another thing, we need to take our freedoms BACK. Like someone else said, these Christians should have their Bible study on the lawn and let the authorities drag them into a paddy wagon while they’re singing hymns.

Oh man! Those Christians are going to riot, burn cars and slaughter countless non-Christians in the area!
Everybody knows how violent they are!
(Do I really need a /SARC?)

That would most likely be my response, but then again I tend to be a bit confrontational.

Wont happen, except maybe in Austin and Houston. Austin, maybe. I doubt it, though.
Houston - no way. There may be liberal pockets of town here, but there are some very conservative ones as well.
And church is pretty big even in the liberal pockets.

Im appalled that people are saying, Pretend its a bridge club, or Just say everyones meeting to watch football and happened to bring their Bibles. They shouldnt HAVE to lie or pretend!! Exactly.
We shouldn't even think of cloaking our faith and hiding from the authorities.
We have to stand up to these intrusions on our liberties or the thugs will win.
And that's unthinkable.

I’m not much for going to things like home bible studies, but by God if I lived near them I would show up exactly one week and a day after they were told to quit.
Heck, I don’t drink or smoke either, but tell me I can’t in my own home and I’ll die of either cirrhosis or lung cancer before I’m through.

It went too far a long, long time ago. We’re so far on the other side of “too far” we can’t even see the line way back in the distance.

They better not mess with me. I am always armed with a large caliber Bible. I open carry it. It is always loaded. And it is sharper than any two edged sword. Trust me, Im not afraid to use it. Whether is is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heardGreat post!

I was expecting this to be taking place in Red China, perhaps Saudi Arabia, but not here in the U.S.

I am not a Lawyer, but if I were, I would be on my way to represent these people. I would have bible study 7 nights a week and defy the city to do anything about it. This is so stupid.

So far, none of these cases have won in court...it’s Christian harassment, pure and simple.
