Gilbert is at most 25% Mormon, and consequently is a very conservative Republican town. The recently elected mayor is a Mormon who held a summit with the local churches to promote collaboration between the town and the churches on special projects. I will be shocked if the town council does not act quickly to change the law. What this does show is that the town office has some nut ball bureaucrats that need to at a minimum be reprimanded and sent to a class on the Constitution and possibly should be fired if they can’t get their heads screwed on straight very quickly. I’m curious to see if our pastor will mention this tomorrow morning. Our church probably has 500-1000 people who broke this law in the past week.

Maybe so. Just wondering if a pastor and his wife can’t have Bible study in their home, can they even read the Bible there? Perish the thought.

Heh, heh, heh, try this Marxist crap in Missouri. I double-dog-dare you!

I am sick to death of this nonsense and equally appalled at American Christians who just take it. If anything, they need to double their attendance.

“I am under the belief that the first Christians met, ate and sang in each others homes.” That is how it got started. There were no official shurch structures at the beginning of Christianity because they were being perscuated.

A badly crippled friend of mine had after school Bible classes for kids for years. She made a big difference in many lives.

I wish I had some spare time to travel there . I would ask to join their study group in time to get arrested and maybe hope to get video of me getting scuffed up a bit by the statists . Not the full Rodney King treatment , they could stop at about two million dollars worth .

One of my pet peeves about American Christians is that they just sit there and take it. They need to keep up their Bible studies...if anything, set them in the Front Yard. Make the Police take them away in a Paddy Wagon, while they were singing hymns.

I agree. If Christians in this country were like this the so called liberals would not be strong. They would be like puppies running away with their tails between their legs. Too bad we don't realize and operate by the awesome power of God. The gates of hell can not prevail against God's Church. So many Christians have been taught and believe that to be a good Christian they need to be a quiet doormat.

Child Evangelism Fellowship is alive and well. 2 of our teenagers are teachers of the children. It has been a marvelous time of growth for them and a blessing for the youngsters going to the “5 day clubs” all over the city, state, country & world.

I had Child Evangelism at my home when kids growing up. Neighborhood boy accepted the lord and so did his mom...later the father did as well and in time became a Deacon of the church. Great Christian family came to be because of this Program for children.

Thanks for that testimony. I will share it with our family. One seed at a time. You never know how, when, where or why.
