No one takes this “sanhedrion” seriously.

The Gedolim don't take it seriously. It is made up of modernists (who want to bend the Torah to modern sensibilities) and radical, rabid "interfaith" advocates.

There is no Kohen Gadol at this time.

The korban pesach is the only sacrifice that can be brought without the Temple. Evidence from Byzantine records indicate that it was brought, at least irregularly, up until the 6th century. There is no Halachic impediment to bringing it today.

Does it require an altar?

Yes. But the altar can be constructed anywhere on the Temple Mount. It doesn’t use the same altar that every other sacrifice used. In fact, in Temple times, there were dozens of altars constructed for the korban pesach, to enable thousands of lambs to be slaughtered as quickly as possible.

It may be an interesting Pesach this year.

The Israeli Supreme Court has already rejected the petition to hold the korban pesach. This happens every year: some group plans to hold it, the police threaten arrests, the group petitions the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court sides with the cops. There is nothing new under the sun.

The moslems should have been evicted fromHar HaBayit in '67.

Have you ever read a ruling of any kind about the entire Jewish population of Jerusalem being required to evacuate the city for the duration of Pesach if Har HaBayit were in Jewish hands but no qorban pesach was brought?

There is no Halachic impediment to bringing it today.

Just an Israeli supreme court impediment.

I have never heard of such a ruling.

I have never heard of such a ruling.

I saw it somewhere online. I believe it was attributed to the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

One final question (and please forgive me for being so much trouble on such a busy day): could the qorban pesach be offered according to the current, fixed calendar, or would the date of the new moon have to be established by the testimony of two witnesses?

I’m hardly an expert. But I don’t think you’d need the testimony of two witnesses, which would require a Sanhedrin.
