Please lift San-Culotte's wife in prayer for protection during surgery tomorrow!
"My wife Harriet is scheduled for a mastectomy tomorrow morning (June 1). She had one on the right side in 1996, and later had a lumpectomy there in 2004. The cancer has returned, now on the left side. It appears to be slow growing, and most of it was removed via a needle biopsy a month ago. However, a mastectomy is necessary to make sure we get it all."
Grace to all of you and yours!
Dear Lord,
We are lifting Harriet up to You in prayer.
She is having surgery tomorrow.
You know our needs Lord.
Your will be done.
In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Amen.

It is amazing how much easier this surgery was compared to the mastectomy in 1996. She was eating pizza for dinner last night! In '96, she was barely awake at all the first day and had to stay over another night. The docs say that anesthesia has come a long way since '96.
They also start the reconstruction process at the time of the surgery, so a cancer doctor and plastic surgeon did the operation(s).
Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Yes, it's great that the medical profession has made some strides in the past decade and a half, but Harriet and I really appreciate all the prayers and support. Praise be to God for watching over Harriet and thanks to all of you for your prayerful support!
