Since Catholics vote proabortion and are more proabortion than even the giant pool of simply "Protestant"

Well, this Catholic is staunchly Pro-Life.

Is your statement above a fact or opinion?

How many “Days of Obligation” have you skipped? What is the purpose of the Mass? Why must you attend each week? What is the means of salvation in the Roman Catholic Church? The finished work of Christ on the Cross 2000 years ago, or the work of Christ in the Mass each week?

The Catholic Church has ALWAYS taught that the cross is sufficient.

Is this quote in the Bible or is it not: Call no man Father but your Father in Heaven. This is a yes or no answer. It is in my Bible and if it is not in your Bible then you are lost as you are “probably” more knowledgeable than me but in the wrong Bible. This falls under my statement of things it tells you not to do that you are doing. Now, after saying that, if you come back with some Catholic foolishness instead of what the Bible actually says , poor you.

Yeah, IF he continues down the path he’s evidently on . . . conditioning the world and the sheeple to gradually accept the “ET’S” as “space brothers” not needing salvation &/OR being elligible for salvation through Christ . . . setting the critters/fallen angels up as “space brother” guides that the faithful ought to listen to will make a lot of changes for a lot of folks’ RELIGION . . . and their destinies from Heaven to hell.

False. People were instructed from the scriptures.

“The reason was, the official position of the RC Church: that the scriptures be damned, Christianity is what the priests say it is.”

Again, false. We believe scripture is inspired and we do not damn it. Please don’t spread such falsehoods. Try to be better than your protestantism.

“You don’t need to know the Bible, WE will tell you what is important for you to know.”

And what was an illiterate person expected to do.

“This false teaching is what ultimately led to the Reformation, which sought only to return the church to the teachings of the Gospel and not the musings of any number of corrupt priests and “Popes.””

False. The Protestant Revolutionaries taught heresy.

“For this, Luther was excommunicated and had a price put on his head.”

False. Luther was excommunicated for his heresy. He was also a criminal.

“Many Catholics are grotesquely ignorant about the history of their own church.”

On average they vastly better informed about history than Protestants are.

“Their reulting bigotries and stupidities do not go down well among the educated Christian community.”

The bigotries and stupidities belong to the anti-Catholics - as exemplified by those in this thread.

If we can get Catholics to vote like Protestants then we could stop abortion.

More truth than not.

However, these globalist world controllers:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/2519352/posts?page=2#2

have been persuaded by the ‘critters’ that the global population MUST be reduced to 200 million in order to save humanity and the planet from total destruction.

It’s just more of satan’s hobby of death, mayhem, suffering while he has a little time left.

<< 2 Thessalonians 2 >>
1 Now we beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to him,
2 That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Yep, it’s there - so what do you call your father? I once was talking to a dumb anti-Catholic (redundant, I know) and he brought up the same verse. He looked triumphant. I asked him what he called his father. He looked shocked. His anti-Catholic world collapsed in an instant. http://www.catholic.com/library/Call_No_Man_Father.asp

“It is in my Bible and if it is not in your Bible then you are lost as you are “probably” more knowledgeable than me but in the wrong Bible.”

I clearly am more knowledgeable if this is the best you can do. I not only know the verse, I actually know what it means. You apparently don’t. No surprise there.

“This falls under my statement of things it tells you not to do that you are doing.”

It doesn’t tell us what you suggest. Are you really saying that the Bible says we should call our fathers “father”?

“Now, after saying that, if you come back with some Catholic foolishness instead of what the Bible actually says , poor you.”

No, I simply come back with the truth. Christ was NOT saying we should NOT call our fathers “father”.

Again, what do you call your father? If you call him “father” or “Dad” (which is just another way of saying “father”) you’re violating your own interpretation of scripture (no matter how wrong it is). That would make you not only wrong but a hypocrite. It would also make you a typical anti-Catholic: wrong and hypocritical.

You mean Protestants like the Clintons?

Nice way to try and trivialize such an important subject, but you unknowingly made the point, Clinton was a proabortion leader of Catholics, not Protestants.

Protestants voted against Clinton, Catholics voted for him, the same thing happened when his veep ran in 2000.

I of course meant that when we can persuade the majority of Catholics to become more pro-life and vote pro-life like the majority of the Protestants are and do, then we can end the power of the Democratic left.

This is something that conservatives should be agreeing on.

Again, Catholics are Catholics and CINOs are CINOs.

We know which followers God has saved..the scriptures tell us ...

How about if you enlighten us, then? Quote the scripture which tells us that Catholics don't go to heaven and evangelicals do.

The mendacity of anti-Catholics is amazing. Catholics make up one-fifth of the population of the US. Clearly plenty of Protestants - tens of millions in fact - voted for Clinton. They voted for him in the mostlt Protestant state of Arkansas long before he ran for President as well. I guess anti-Catholics just have no conscience at all and just think they can lie about anything.

It is not surprising to see a movement as mentioned in OP article.

1. Chaos is growing exponentially;
2. Kids have long been raised on SITUATION ETHICS vs GOD’S WORD;
3. Even Evangelical Christianity has increasingly been watered down, sanitized, gussied up, rationalized into milque toast pablum in too many congregations and denominations;
4. Certainly the traditional denominations have become UNITARIANIZED AND PC’d quite far from the Biblical standards and priorities;

5. AND AS EVER . . . FROM THE TIME WHEN GOD INVITED INDIVIDUALS IN THE WILDERNESS TO MEET WITH HIM AT THE TENT OF MEETING—AND THEY FEARFULLY DECLINED GOD ALMIGHTY’S INVITATION—INSISTING THAT MOSES DO THE SPIRITUAL/RELIGIOUS RELATING *FOR THEM* . . . FROM THAT TIME TO THIS—lazy, fearful, cowardly, shallow, rebellious, manipulative, deluded, luke-warm . . . pseudo-’Christians’ have increasingly been eager for a PROFESSIONAL PRIESTLY ELITE to ‘DO THE GOD THING’ *FOR* THEM.

6. GIVEN ALL SUCH . . . the pomp and cirumstance; the predictable expectations and rituals; the authoritarian declarations and strictures . . . all must seem quite welcome to youths crying out for structure, stability, predictability regarding spiritual and eternal issues.

7. ALL THE MORE SO when they are not willing to do the hard vulnerable, imprecise, intangible work of the dance to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling—face to face with THE FATHER via Christ’s Blood and Holy Spirit in the privacy of their own prayer closets.
