Your Going To Witness An Explosion Soon !
The Joshua Chronicles ^ | scribe

Posted on 08/09/2010 5:17:01 PM PDT by Jedediah

Your going to witness an explosion soon and this will be for my glory for those that would touch my children shall be touched !

Therefore a prophecy shall be fulfilled but even more for this shall open a scroll that can not be shut by man and many things now shall begin to come to pass in exacting order as My kingdom expands for I AM The Christ ( The Anointed One ) .

Daniel 6:16 16 So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!

Matthew 16:15-17 15He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am?

16Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.

Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one".[1] It is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah.

The word is often misunderstood to be the surname of Jesus due to the numerous mentions of Jesus Christ in the Christian Bible. The word is in fact used as a title, hence its common reciprocal use Christ Jesus, meaning "Jesus The Anointed One", or "Jesus The Messiah".

Daniel 6:26-27

26I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel.

For he is the living God and he endures for ever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end.

27 He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.

No, he actually talks as if he is God, or God’s prophet.

Not to nitpick: but shouldn’t that be “you’re”?

Are you questioning God's grammar and punctuation skills?

Can't you read?

This was written by God.

God don't make no mistakes.

In Mormon theology God had a Grammar and a Gramper.

Our friend heard from a prophetic source in a service she’s attending that Iran will attack Southern California within a few to several weeks.

You have any sense about that or have you heard anything related to that other than this thread’s OP?

BLESS YOU AND THANKS FOR YOUR SOLDIERING ON WITH THE ALERTS AND WARNINGS. SOME PAY ATTENTION.

Define "several weeks".

Define "prophetic source".

Define "attack".

Did this person just make a prediction or have some kind of feeling that this might happen, or did the Lord actually speak to her and was this prophecy purported to be the actual words of God?

And if this doesn't happen, will you call this prophetic source out as a false prophet? Or will this "prophetic source" be given another opportunity to be wrong?

It looks like our FreeProphet has prophesied about a "great explosion" before.

This seems to be an annual event.

I wasn’t there.

The worship leader who’s the prophetic source asserted that

“The Lord showed me that . . . “

Beyond that, I don’t have anything further to add.

“The Lord showed me that . . . “

I generally have no real problem with people phrasing their spiritual experience with language such as "The Lord showed me..." That can be done through inductive or deductive Bible study. Where I part company with these "prophetic sources" is when they coach their prophetic statements with such language as "Thus saith the Lord" or "I am Christ". Invariably these people turn out to be false prophets and IMO they blaspheme God when they falsely presume to speak in His name.

The author of this "explosion" prophecy made the same prophecy a year ago.

Nothing happened.

I guess the 4th of July happened in between the two prophecies and you might say that on the 4th of July there was a "big explosion" somewhere in the US.

False prophets always have some way of rationalizing their false predictions. Maybe God changed his mind. Maybe you misunderstood. Maybe it was just a metaphor for something else that happened.

This same "prophet" last year predicted that the US was going to go through a season of horrible hurricanes.

But he was wrong.

There were virtually no hurricanes that did any significant damage in the last year. Both the "prophet" and the global warming doomsayers were wrong.

I don't give prophets a second chance to be wrong. The bible says that if a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and what he predicts does not come to pass, he is a false prophet. There is no middle ground. You are either a true prophet, in which case you are NEVER wrong or you are a false prophet (in which case you may be right 99% of the time). I haven't seen a single "true" prophecy come from this source.

Can you point to a single prophecy posted on Free Republic by the author of this one that actually "came to pass?"

Quix, if you run with dogs you’re gonna get fleas.

Jedediah will not answer a simple question about whether she is speaking something God has told her to say.

Apparently, she is embarrassed by God.

The above article is a word-for-word reproduction of the same article at: http://thejoshuachronicles.blogspot.com/2010/08/your-going-to-witness-explosion-soon.html

It is a violation of FR policy to post “articles” without attribution.

No. He’s not embarrassed by God.

IIRC, He’s convinced that God insists on him maintaining the stance he is.

Jed doesn’t do things like I would. Praise God for that. One of me is enough.

God is Jed’s supervisor, Lord, Master. Jed puts God first in every way I’ve ever observed about him. God is able to polish Jed up overnight in whatever way any of us might prefer.

Given Jed’s heart-level seeking God above all else and putting God’s priorities first, I’ll continue to support Jed.

People have been flinging fleas all over me all my life for my own real and imagined flaws. What else is new.

I appreciate your candor. I’m grieved that we can’t all be in unity on such issues.

That, too, is God’s problem, at most all levels.

That is Jed’s own website.

The attribution requirement is more intent on things from sources other than the author’s own website, IIRC.

No. He’s not embarrassed by God.

He has consistently refused to answer any questions about his "callling". If he has a gift from God, then he should not be embarrassed about telling others how it works.

God is Jed’s supervisor, Lord, Master.

So are you convinced that every word that Jed posted here is the actual words of God? Have you considered that he was wrong about the hurricanes and he was previously wrong about the great explosion? And I dare say your "prophetic source" is going to be wrong about Iran attacking Southern California "soon". Wanna take a bet on that one?

Given Jed’s heart-level seeking God above all else and putting God’s priorities first, I’ll continue to support Jed.

Just because someone is sincere, it doesn't make them doctrinally or theologically correct. Mormons are sincere. The Catholics that you are constantly berating about their "rubber bible" theology are all sincere. Muslims are sincere. Hindus are sincere. Jehovah's witnesses are sincere.

I challenged you to show me one prophecy that the author of this prophecy has posted which has actually come true. I have found two that didn't. It only takes one false prophecy to make a false prophet. I do not give anyone any slack in this department. The Bible does not allow for any. He has no "gift". He speaks for God presumptuously. This is not my opinion. This is a fact.

If you lie with dogs you're going to get fleas. Likewise, if you live in a glass house you shouldn't throw stones.

Why don't you hold Charismatics to the same standard that you hold Catholics? You wouldn't put up with a Catholic who posted some false vision of Mary. Why do you put up with false prophecies from Charismatics purporting to be the actual words of God Almighty?

Quix, you are constantly berating Catholics about their "rubber bible" and how their doctrine is not biblically sound. Well, these prophetic utterances that purport to containing the actual words of God make the Bible utterly irrelevant. Have you ever once challenged any Charismatic on this forum who purported to be posting the very words of God as some kind of prophecy?

If the words posted above are the actual words of God, then they are the equivalent of scripture. You should be more than willing to quote them in your discussions with Catholics or other denominations that you disagree with. You should be willing to use these quotes as if they were scripture. But then that would make the Catholic "rubber bible" look like a solid rock compared to the Charismatics "irrelevant" bible.

When I argue doctrine and theology on this forum I have only one source for the actual words of God and that is the Bible. I had my fill of false prophecies and people presuming to speak the actual words of God when I was a Mormon. When I found out that the Mormon prophets were false prophets, I didn't tolerate it because they were sincere. Sure they may have been sincere, but they were sincerely wrong. In the realm of prophecy there is no wiggle room for sincerity. If you are sincerely wrong, that makes you a false prophet. If you presume to speak for God anything which God has not actually commanded you to speak, then you are a false prophet.
