One of my Fav Hymns from Church today. Do you have a fav?

In Humility, Our Savior

1. In humility, our Savior, Grant thy Spirit here, we pray, As we bless the bread and water In thy name this holy day. Let me not forget, O Savior, Thou didst bleed and die for me When thy heart was stilled and broken On the cross at Calvary.

2. Fill our hearts with sweet forgiving; Teach us tolerance and love. Let our prayers find access to thee In thy holy courts above. Then, when we have proven worthy Of thy sacrifice divine, Lord, let us regain thy presence; Let thy glory round us shine.

This is a caucus thread, folks. There are plenty of other threads where people can make antagonistic remarks.

Happy Sabbath to all!

A song supposedly about Jesis being your King...and not one capital for all those pronouns attributed to Him ???

The King James Version of the Bible does not capitalize pronouns referring to God. Nor do most other English translations of the Bible that are familiar to me.

I have no reason to suppose that the translators, editors, or publishers of those Bibles intended any disrespect toward God by their choice of punctuation.

Getting back to the subject of this thread, do you have a favorite hymn that you find especially inspiring?

This Religion Forum thread is labeled “LDS Caucus” meaning if you are not actively LDS, leave this thread.

Let me know how that “proving worthy” thing works out for you.

It certainly worked out for the early saints.

Colossians 1:10
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

BTW, I'm sure you know this is a caucus thread...

One of my favorite quotes of John Adams, thanks!

I have it on my about page, with some other great ones.
