I’ve always disliked that saying. It isn’t the seven last words, they are the seven last staements.

Franz Joseph Haydn wrote 7 short pieces for string quartet titled "The Seven Last Words of Christ." You might want to check them out. He intended the pieces as a devotional.

That sounds absolutely beautiful. When my brother, a priest, ran a soup and bread kitchen for the down and out, he always had a string quartet come in and play. What a beautiful ministry that must have been for those homeless men and families.
