To sum up...yes, I think he is on theologically shakey ground, but he is doing the job we all should have been doing, but didn't or couldn't. I say, even if I am sure I am more right, and even if the Bible agrees with me, it is not my job to judge the state of his soul, and he may come round. God's job. If some of you folks REALLY want to impress me, write a thank you letter to him, and AFTER you congratulate him, compose specific paragraphs on WHY you disagree with him. Kindly. Honestly. But do more than say, "we should walk away from the great message he passes, and the way he risked his life to stand in the breech while we sat in our nice, safe homes, because he's not hearing Jesus entirely clearly." Put your witness where your gripe is, kindly, and clearly. But thank the man first.
I spent 14 year living in Western NM. (1972-1986) I had many Mormon friends. Have yet to meet one that I did not find a good family man, most were very honest and I frankly liked them.
For 2 years I was Republican County Chairman in Grant County. The Dem to Rep. registration ratio was 5 Dems to 1 Rep. It was a mine-union town. The three groups that I could always count on at the polls were the rock-ribbed Rep. Ranchers, the Mormons and the John Birchers. I had differences of opinion and beliefs with the latter 2, but they were always there to fight the political battles.
I also have good historic grasp of how the Mormon church was formed. Some of that history is not written. And the description of other parts are only sold in a brown paper wrapper under the counter in Utah.
God has used even non-believers to accomplish his ends. (example Cyrus the Great freeing the Jews from Babalonian Captivity)
Beck is correct, the battle we are fighting is about faith, truth, morals and the rule of law. (Many of our laws have biblical origin.)
Lets put asside our differences and get on with the battle with the evil one and his surrogates.
God can use anyone to work his will. He changed the heart of a pagan Moabite, Ruth from whose line descended Jesus. He used another pagan prostitute, Rahab, to hide his spies. She also became an ancestor of Jesus. He use the pagan Cyrus of Persia to send the Jews to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. He used a theologically challenged Ethiopian eunuch to take the gospel to Africa.
He even used a donkey.
God can use Glenn Beck, too, to work his purpose in America. The fact that he is Mormon will not stop the Lord. His arm is not too short. If Beck is truly saved, he will eventually enter heaven. However, saved or not, the Lord can still use him.

Bravo! Excellent post.
So because the Lds church currently has 52,000 missionaries out there, and perhaps your own denomination has a paltry number by contrast, are you likewise going to conclude, "Well, I think these Lds missionaries are on theologically shakey ground, but they are doing the job we all should have been doing in outreach, but didn't or couldn't. So I'm going to invite them over to our church so they can lead an outdoor revival...and so that our young people can see how we Christians endorse Mormon-led revival meetings...so they in turn, can see that there's really no distinction between them joining your denomination or the Mormons."???
I think after this generation of Christian church members continues such a compromise, only to lose more & more of their own teens & young adults to Lds proselytism, the true "wake-up" call might finally come when Mormon convert daughter Jane calls up Baptist Mom & Dad & tells them she's getting married in the Mormon temple & they are disinvited because the Mormons are so much into "kum ba yah" weddings.../NOT
