I only disagree with the article that angels have wings. There are a variety of created, spiritual orders of beings which are not angels; those Ezekiel saw were a few of these. They are the "winged" creatures depicted on the lid of the Ark of the Covenant.

Nowhere in the New Tesatment does the Bible describe angels as having wings.

The TV show Supernatural definitely has down the “fearsome soldier of God” part, and that they don’t have bodies (they occupy willing hosts in the show).

This is my favorite depiction of a guardian angel (I have an icon of this in my bedroom). Give me this time over the "white heresy" of cute angelic beings. Don't forget that the heavenly hosts are warriors!

Revelations 22: 8-9

That may be true in scripture. But I prayed a full Divine Mercy once and heard the angels praising God. Singing Holy Holy Holy God and hallejehahs. It was sweet low sound I first thought it was Radio. No radio was turned on. I looked in the whole house. It went on for 2 minutes. It was beautiful. I was praying for a family member.

I believe The Lord gave me a signal grace for the answer to pray. Praise Jesus!

Interesting. I've never been that captivated with Angels.

But as an aside, I have to say I loved the way they were portrayed in "Supernatural".

One of my favorite television lines, ever was when Zachariah goes off with -

"In Heaven, I have six wings and four faces!...one of which is a lion! Lemme tell you something, I was on the fast-track once -- Employee Of The Month every month, forever! I'd walk these halls and people would AVERT THEIR EYES! I HAD RESPECT. And then they assigned me you: now look at me, I can't close the deal on a couple of flannel-wearing maggots? Everybody's laughing at me! Well, it's personal now, and the last person in the history of creation you want as your enemy is me. Lucifer, may be strong, but I'm petty!"

I wish it were possible to have a very big buck movie with an exceptional director to film a modern day version of Armageddon, in ALL of its true biblical incantations.

Not about nuking a comet.

Armies of Angels decimating millions if not billions that aligned with Satan, restoring peace on Earth, eliminating Islam in totality, every single scrap of its history would be removed from existence.

As long as it doesn’t get too creepy crawly about like how the Jehovahs Witnesses thing of Earth after Armageddon I would be happy, though the Resurrection does have some interesting benefits.

Whether or not only a 144,000 will survive can be argued, maybe someone misplaced a decimal point or something.

I believe in Angels and spiritual guidance though my self I doubt I deserve any guidance, I seem to be a rebel at everything.
