He hates this country. He attended a hatemongering group masquerading as a church for 20 years. He sent the FBI after a man who SAID he was going to burn an indoctrination book. He SAID nothing when Christians were murdered in their church in Iraq. He bowed in submission before middle-eastern leaders. He speaks badly of this country every chance he gets. He is draining the country of its wealth and spreading it around.
If he ain’t one of dem, den what is he?

This may explain his silence on the bombing of a Catholic church in Iraq. It simply doesn't mesh with his view of this religion of peace and tolerance. A cheap shot. Over 60 churches in Iraq have been bombed since 2004, and I don't remember either Bush or Obama commenting on the bombings. Maybe they both had the same view of Islam, or maybe neither wanted to meddle in a way that might make things worse. That doesn't make Bush a Muslim, and in itself it doesn't make Obama one either.

He told us and the world who he was when he recited the muslim call to prayer in arabic.
The muslim world understood exactly what it meant , we choose to not believe he meant what he said.

Why does this belief persist, in direct contradiction to all known facts?
Because according to Muslim law he is a Muslim and not once has he voiced a theological reason for leaving Islam, as opposed to a political one?
