One of the pitfalls of our times, is the exaltation and even empowering of ‘evil men’. Just perusing the headlines, yields surreal evidence that this is true of our society.
A few examples would suffice; “Sir” Elton John, and his homosexual partner announce the birth of their baby,(by surrogate mother).The National Review, (a conservative publication), celebrates the fact that ‘gay couple’ are new Bourgeoise, . The repeal of DADT has opened the doors to the homosexualisation of our military.
Left or right, Democrat or Republican, is irrelevant, all seem to be acquiescing to the Homosexual juggernaut. The conservative political action committee, CPAC, has opened it’s arms to a “right wing” Homosexual group GOP Pride. (What remains for conservatives to ‘conserve’ if not the family?)
God’s Word warns us of the social consequences of exalting and honoring evil men and women. Thanks to a generation of near Pavlovian educational conditioning, just asserting that there are “evil men or women” is controversial. Radical relativism has destroyed the sense of discernment for most of this generation.
The book of Proverbs, in the Bible, assures us that indeed there are “vile men”, as well as those who are “worthless”,”evil”, “perverse”,and “wicked”. Furthermore proverbs warns of the terrible consequences to society of honoring such men.
A worthless man digs up evil, While his words are like scorching fire. A perverse man spreads strife, And a slanderer separates intimate friends.(Proverbs 16:27-28)
In the transgression of an evil man [there is] a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.(Proverbs 29:6)
What happens when evil and perverse men are not only honored, but are given power over a society ? I believe we are about ready to find out, again,unfortunately.
I say again, because we have seen the disastrous results that the Proverbs warned about, in recent history. Germany is a nation that was regarded as the epitome of western civilization, it was the land that gave the world Luther, Beethoven, and Bach. How did she descend in one generation into the barbarous home of the holocaust?
There are many answers to this complicated question, such as World War One, shifts in Philosophy, the Versailles treaty, etc . But one aspect that perhaps came about because of the weakened state of Germany due to the above , was the exaltation of evil men into positions of power and influence.
The online book THE PINK SWASTIKA, documents how Hitler and his henchmen emerged out of a fetid swamp of pornographers, homosexuals, and occultists, to gain control of one of the most technologically sophisticated, cultured nations in the world.
The spiritual roots of the Nazi party were almost entirely homosexual. Early National Socialists met in a tavern frequented by homosexuals. The founder of the Brownshirts, Rossbach was a homosexual as was Ernst Roehm who led the auxiliary until he was executed in Hitler’s purge.
The first “book burning” by the Brownshirts was at a sexual research institute which had attempted to treat many of the Nazi leaders long before they came to power.It is thought that the book burning was ordered to suppress files on noted Nazi’s.
Even the persecution of homosexuals by Nazi’s is shown in the book to be the persecution of one faction of homosexuals by another.
This could be an explanation for the brutal inhumanity of the Nazi’s and their callous disregard for human life. All perversion is anti-life, it is anti-human and, like the Nazi’s, anti God. As Proverbs 8 tells us , in the person of God’s wisdom, “All who hate me love death!”.
It is eerily familiar, to study the ascent of the Nazi’s, who were avidly animal rights, environmentalist, gun control ,sexual libertines, atheistic, occultic, and anti christian, almost identical to today’s left!
The public “demonstrations”of the Brownshirts, street beatings, riots, book burning and other suppressions of free speech, could just as easily be ACORN, the SEIU union, ACt-Up or the various agitators on college campuses who disrupt the speeches of conservatives.
What happens when wicked men are exalted? Look no further than Germany 1933-1945, and the disastrous aftermath. Oppresion, suppression, persecution, and ultimately ,God’s judgment happens when vile people are honored and admired.
How we need to heed the call of God through the prophet Isaiah, to
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.(Isaiah 55:6-7)
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment...The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. Isaiah 32:1, 5-7.

Alas, the American people will never figure it out no more than the Germans did in the 1930s. They lack the ability to discern.

He makes a distinction between Hitler's National Socialism and Mussolini's Fascism. Hitler was about Race and Mussolini about the Nation. Hitler was certainly a pagan and wanted to return Germany to a pre-Roman culture.
But he traces it all back to Rousseau who wrote that liberty is based on submitting the will to the State.
I believe in the end that homosexuality and other evils are merely symptoms of secular religion ism, which worships the State.
The vile have been exalted ever since creation. That’s why creation will come to an end at some predetermined event.
(Oops, can I mention ‘creation’?)
I’m going to have to read that one, interestingly enough it was Goldberg who wrote about the new homo Bourgoise, as being perhaps a good thing. As for your comment about “symptoms” I believe you are right, Romans 1 makes the same point.

I believe Romans 1 holds true.. what we see around us IS the judgement of God.. not a cause for a future judgement if we do not “improve “ or repent.
God has given us over to the most vile of sin, every man doing exactly what the unregenerate heart loves

God will not allow his laws to be mocked or go unpunished. Judgment day is coming. It may not be tomorrow, but every day draws it one day closer. And HE will judge this nation and the world. The wonderful thing about His judgment is that is completely just.
