Well, the answer was already established in the primaries last election!
Romney got about 94% of the vote in Utah.
Same with other states that had high % of Lds (AZ, Wyoming, etc.)
It's called "identity politics."
Only when people do it in a reverse way, they want to call it "bigotry."

I would personally not vote for someone who was Mormon, Scientologist, Muslim, Moonie, Krishna, etc.
It’s not bigotry, it’s my right as an American to vote my conscience.

No, but I might vote against someone just because they were Muslim.
Islam seems to be a political totalitarianism founded by a terrorist genocidal pedophile, dressed up as a religion.
I can’t abide that in an American leader.

To: Colofornian
Ha!
Wrong question!
See if you get an honest answer to:
“Would you NOT vote for someone, simply because they’re Mormon?”

I’ll vote against Romney because he’s a socialist, brown-nosing, plastic chameleon / RINO cross breed.

Would the proposed LDS member encourage business growth, keep our country safe, limit political correctness, discourage abortion and reduce the size of government? I wouldn’t care if he worshiped Zeus and had a shrine to the late Don Ho, anything is better than the slew of Rinos and libs we have running the show right now.

No, but I wouldn't vote against them because of it either.
I would never, however, vote for Mitt "RomneyCare" Romney.
Under any circumstances.
Ever.

The writer, probably LDS herself, takes voting for the Mormon as axiomatic for Mormons:
Who will the Mormons vote for?! If their only choice was Romney, I bet a fair number of Mormons wouldnt really give the other candidates a second thought.
But of course we have freeper Mormons who do not agree. Perhap they're int he 6%?

Sure I’d vote for a mormon. I’d vote for Mitt Romney, for example.

Well they'd really be in a pickle if Harry Reid was the Dim candidate...and Romney or Huntsman was the Pub candidate!!!
LOL!!!

Hell I’d take a satanist over Obama in 2012. At least he’d be honest about his faith and quite frankly things couldn’t get much worse.
To: Colofornian
"Would You Vote for Someone Just Because Theyre Mormon? "You ask that like being part of a sick twisted cult that distorts the true gospel is a plus.
