I don’t see how that guarentees peace either. Are you claiming that all Christian countries have always been peaceful?
I believe American law is based on the Ten Commandments. I can only speak for my former country, which was inspired and founded on the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ. America was a Biblical idea. She went down the tubes when she refused to remember that!
American law is simply not based on the 10 commandments. I could go into a huge argument about why the founders explicitly kept religion out of the constitution and founding documents.
Instead, I will just say that only 3 of them are actually enshrined in law, and those three have been part of virtually every society Christian or otherwise.
