The original purpose of the Anglican Use Society, established in 2003, was to promote the usage of the liturgical practices contained in The Book of Divine Worship and evangelical outreach to members of the Anglican Communion seeking union with the Roman Catholic Church and to promote an understanding of the special pastoral provision initiated by Pope John Paul II.
The Anglican Ordinariate, which was authorized in November 2009, through the apostolic constitution "Anglicanorum Coetibus," expanded the work of the society. They are now cooperating with the initiatives being formulated to address the needs of the new wave of pilgrims currently on the journey into the Church.

Fr. Covington had a terrific talk last night at the conference. He did a good job comparing what Catholics went through with the loss of the old Latin Mass and what Anglicans/Episcopalians went through with the change from the 1928 to 1979 BCP. Anglicans are in attendance and everyone is hoping that an ordinariate is established soon.
Today it will be 104 degrees in Dallas/Arlington/Ft. Worth area! That’s the only downside so far.
There was a talk last night? I looked on the site where they were going to stream it but I didn’t see any talks archived.
Will keep checking today...gonna be some good listening for the weekend!

Yes, Fr. Covington was excellent last night. The talks today were also excellent. Not a single bad one in the batch. I can’t remember the last time I attended a conference and every single talk was a home run in quality!
