What is most appalling is the excuses and justification we here from Catholics and the almost complete absence of condemnation of this sort of thing or the RCC leadership in not addressing it from all the FRoman Catholics on this board.

Reminds one of another scandal, doesn’t it?

But let a Prod bring up sin inside the Roman Catholic Church and you are a bigot, guilty of hate speech, etc.....

no excuses from this Catholic.

what we are witnessing is the great falling away from the Church that the Scriptures tell us will happen right before Jesus returns.

Satan has been loosed and the plague of homosexuality and other immorality spreading like wild fire in the Church is the result.

the true remnant is in real tribulation over these developments.
the two witnesses ( a picture of the Church spreading the Gospel to the world ) are indeed dead and the unsaved world is rejoicing!!

what should worry those on this board that claim to be Christian is they seem to be rejoicing as well!!

this fact goes right over their heads.

Welllllll

since the Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess cult purportedly chooses what’s up/down, good/bad;

who God’s Mummy is;

when said Mummy gets to join the ‘hypostatic union of the Godhead’

etc. etc.

they probably figure they can choose when to call bad good; good bad and how to apply their DAFFYNITIONARY.

Please point where I offered ANY excuse and justification for this sort of dissent. The issue I had is the presentation of this kind of moral heresy as Catholic teaching, which it isn’t. Catholic moral teaching on homosexuality is crystal clear. The Episcopalian homosexual activist referredd to here is a PROTESTANT, and he is introducing his Protestant subjective approach to sexual morality into the Catholic Church, granted with the connivance of homosexualists dissenters within the Church. But the sinful actions of Catholics, including priests, and any lack of discipline of them, changes not one whit of the correct moral teaching on homosexuality handed down from the Apostles. Protestants, without any teaching authority founded on the successor of Peter and the apostles, will inevitably go the way of moral heresy, since inclination to sexual sin is very strong in fallen man, and without any authoritative teaching, people will find justification and excuses.

This is not so, because I am a FReeper of long standing and a Catholic, and I am appalled by this!

This Sunday we just changed our Missal (the order of our Mass) to reflect the direct translation of Latin into English rather than the quite liberal, "relative" translation drawn up in the late 1960’s. It is a strong step against the Pink-Purple Mafia (what I call the gay Catholic clergy). As more and more conservative bishops and archbishops are being appointed, and reflect the TRUE spirit of the Church I expect to see stuff like this stop.

However, for the present, I am deeply disturbed and will let my priest and archbishop know that this must be oppossed!

Will they “let” him take Eucharist, too? If so, that is not only a sin for him, but a sin for everyone in that diocese, the priests and deacons of that church, and ALL the parishoners who celebrate this or refuse to condemn it!!!!
