I think this will prove most dangerous in Europe, for several reasons:
1. Christianity in Europe is already hollowed-out into a Christ-less shell, an empty cultural expression devoid of doctrine.
2. Demographics - as Muslims become more numerous in Europe, the degenerate elites of Europe will see syncretism as a ducky way to integrate them.
3. Western guilt/multiculturalism - the Western mind is no longer capable of defending itself. Presented with a determined minority with a differing viewpoint, it is hobbled by post-colonial guilt. It will gladly efface itself and capitulate to Islam as a means of absolution.
I think Chrislam will also gain some traction in the U.S., but not to anything like the same degree. The U.S. maintains a robust population of Evangelicals and lacks the critical mass of Muslims necessary to power such a movement.

It’s probably the same crowd that supported the Liberation Theology of Yesteryear. Communism is so passé, now it’s Islam as the new big thing to conform to.

heresy.... I also will note, that the link to the story is ran by a group of heretical Christians who believe that the "signs and wonders" as told about in Act Chapter 2, are actually for today. Which is, of course, false doctrine. I know, I was in those idiotic crowds for 21 years. Got out in 2004; best decision I ever made. -DR Your friendly neighborhood Independent, Fundamentalist, King James Bible Believing Baptist.

Although Judaism and Christianity are rather incompatible too (either Jesus is the messiah, or he is NOT) they aren’t as incompatible as Islam and Christianity. After all, no ancient Jewish text speaks against Jesus, because he hadn’t been born yet. But Islam says very clearly he is NOT the son of God. Can’t have it both ways, folks.

These idiots might want to note that Muslims aren’t trying to find common ground with them and Bibles are nowhere near their Mosques.

Idiocy. Heresy. Islam and Christianity are simply incompatible.
And they won’t find any Muslims returning the favor.

Guess again, you only have to look at Rick Perry in Texas welcoming Muslims, incorporating teaching about Islam in schools and him helping break ground for a mosque in Texas to watch the change.

I thought that taqiyya implied a dispensation for the muslim who lied to further the propagation of Islam. They seem to do whatever is necessary to further their progress to our detriment.
