Fox News Latino ^ | December 13, 2011 | NewsCore

The archbishop of Los Angeles is among a group of Latino bishops from throughout the US to have called for undocumented immigrants to be seen as a "revitalizing force" -- instead of as criminals.

The group of 30, including Los Angeles Archbishop José Gómez, released a joint letter vowing to work for immigration law reform, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

[SNIP]

"The lack of a just, humane and effective reform of immigration laws negatively affects the common good of the United States. We promise to keep working to bring about this change."

Try telling that to Mexico’s own immigration service, José. You are aware that Mexico’s immigration service isn’t nearly as kind or gentle as the INS, eh José?

Deport Illegals AND "Latino Bishops" to their native countries.

Latino Bishops may serve their "illegal flock" in countries where they are NOT breaking the laws of their unwanted host countries.

I have a better idea, Jose: move to Meh-he-coh to show your solidarity with the illegal invaders, and take them and your other leftist clerical buddies with you.

We don’t need them or you.

It seems that tribalism trumps everything. I suspect that these “latino bishops” are more devoted to their ethnicity than they are to God.

Let's just treat "undocumented" Mexican immigrants the same way Mexico treats "undocumented" US immigrants, Jose.

What do you say?

Laws created in the Congress of the U.S. by people that have been lawfully elected to represent the citizens of the United States of America are what’s illegal in 2012.

Prepare for war.

"revitalizing force"

Putrid, racist, communist, nonsense. The only thing illegal Mexicans are interested in "revitalizing" is Mexico.

Los Angeles is run by "latinos" and it is a pile of puke in decline.

The Catholic Latino-Hispanic Bishop’s Caucus.

What ever happened to sticking to our spiritual needs.

I think it should be proposed to these bishops that the church does not support illegal aliens as much as it should in their native countries. So they, the US bishops, should send money to their peers in those countries, so that these illegal aliens could return home to greater prosperity.

"What ever happened to sticking to our spiritual needs."

Damage wrought by the infusion of "liberation theology" I think. And again, tribalism seems to be a factor in many cases.

I wonder if Archbishop Gomez would consider an “undocumented houseguest” in the rectory to be a “revitalizing force”.

These Latino Bishops are liars. How is that supposed to square with their professed faith?

Were all the Irsh immigrants criminals?

Were all the Italian immigrants criminals?

Were all the Canadaian immigrants criminals?

Why do you continue to single out the Hispanic population? Are you prejudiced against them?

What would Jesus say and do?
