Psalm 103:13
As a Father hath Compassion upon His Children,
So hath the Lord Compassion on them that Fear Him.
TOPICS: Prayer; Religion & Culture; Religion & Politics
KEYWORDS: americanheroes; lordjesus; pray; prayer
Our Beloved Father,
'O Give Thanks unto the LORD; Call upon His Name: Make Known His Deeds among the People. Sing unto Him, Sing Psalms unto Him: Talk ye of All His Wondrous Works. Glory ye in His Holy Name: Let the Heart of them Rejoice that Seek the LORD.' (Ps.105:2,3) Be Glorified and Honored Forever, Lord Jesus Christ! May Your Name be Lifted High with Constant, Eternal Praise.
Through Jesus our Savior, we Give Thanks for Your Awesome Gifts. May our Military Men be Sheltered Daily in Your Peace, Grace, and Love. We Ask that Your Power will Encircle them and Keep them Safe. For Any who don't Know Thee as Lord, we Pray for their Salvation, through Grace. 'As a Father hath Compassion upon His Children, so hath the Lord Compassion on them that Fear Him.' (Ps.103:13) Thank You for Your Caring Heart, and that Every Morning Your Mercies are New. 'We Thy People, and Sheep of Thy Pasture, shall Praise Thee Forever: and from Generation to Generation, we will Set Forth Thy Praise.' (Ps.79:13)
Most Excellent Sovereign, we Cry for our Wayward Land. Our Heart's are Burdened by the Things we See and Hear. Please Shower our America with Forgiveness and Abounding Grace. 'Help us, O God of our Salvation, for the Glory of Thy Name, and Deliver us, and be Merciful unto our Sins for Thy Name's Sake.' (Ps.79:9) 'Turn us Again, O God, and Cause Thy Face to Shine, that we May be Saved.' (Ps.80:3)
Lord, Great is Your Love that Saved us, and Cleansed us from our Sins. Throughout the Endless Ages to Come we will Sing Songs of Sweet Praise. 'Who is So Great a God, as our God? Thou art the God that Doeth Wonders; Thou hast Declared Thy Power Among the people. Thou hast Redeemed Thy People with Thine Arm, even the Sons of Jacob and Joseph.' (Ps.77:13-15) You Alone, Lord, Merit Eternity's Great Praise. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory of Heaven's King, amen.

Freep mail me to be on or off the Daily Bread ping list
Birthday Giveaway
January 8, 2012
When I reminded my husband that his 39th birthday was just around the corner, he declared that he didnt want any presents. Yeah, right, I thought, and I continued to press him for gift ideas. Thats when he told me he wanted to give away the money we would have spent on his birthday.
The Bible calls us to give willinglynot grudgingly or of necessityto support Gods work and to help people (2 Cor. 9:7). This kind of freewill giving often results in joy for the giver. When King David donated his personal stash of gold and silver to help build the temple, many Israelite officials followed his example. After they contributed bronze, iron, gemstones, and precious metal, the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly (1 Chron. 29:9).
As part of the celebration, David praised God, saying, Of Your own we have given You (v.14). His point was that God owns everything. Remembering this allows us to give eagerly, because we are just returning our resources to their rightful ownerGod Himself.
The next time you contribute cash, services, or belongings to support the cause of Christ, examine your attitude. Are you giving freely and willingly? God loves a cheerful giver.
Lord, You love the cheerful giver,
Who with open heart and hand
Blesses freely, as a river
That refreshes all the land. Murray

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.
SHADOWS AT ARLINGTON
Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, we pray that you vouchsafe the souls of our Fallen to dwell eternally in your Divine Presence, Amen.

Prayers up for our country
To: Kitty Mittens
Amen to your beautiful Prayer, Kitty Mittens!
To: All
Dear Lord,
This year 2012 may be the toughest year yet for fighting terrorism as our enemies both here and abroad look for our weakest links.
We love You Lord and we thank You for your loving grace, mercy and forgiveness.
We pray that You will protect us Lord as our country struggles to find a President whom actually knows You, wants Your guidance and Your protection.
We pray for our military and all people today who are protecting and serving our country both at home and abroad.
We love You Lord.
Your will be done.
In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Amen.
