10News cameras captured exclusive video of 55-year-old Otis Holland being taken into custody by U.S. Marshals at the San Ysidro border.
Federal authorities received a tip that he had been living at a church in downtown Tijuana. They are not sure how long he had been hiding out in Mexico, but they are looking into the possibility there could be more victims.
..The pastor has been the focus of an international manhunt since June 2010. He was the minister of a church that held services in a tax preparation building in Henderson, Nev
Holland is accused of molesting at least three girls in his congregation. ...
According to police in Henderson, Holland targeted troubled teens at the congregation and then offered to counsel them. Investigators said he sound-proofed a room in his home and videotaped his victims.
..According to the relative, Holland used religion to manipulate his victims
"For these young children, he was their passage to God. He used the church to take advantage of these young children and make them think they would go to hell if they didn't partake in his activities," the uncle said.
He also told 10News Holland abused some of his victims at his luxury home in a so called "torture room."
"It was a sound proof room which had all sorts of things that you would use to terrorize these young girls. There were video cameras in there, all sorts of horrible things," according to the relative...

One of Holders peeps
People like this should get the death penalty.
Let me say, unequivocally, that if this man is indeed guilty then what he has done is damnable. It reflects badly on him, and it reflects badly on his church.
I never hear Roman Catholics come out so straighforwardly against their perverted religious leaders.
“He was about to turn his life around!”
“He was such a __________.” (fill in platitude of your choice)
“He was unable to control his desires because he is a sex addict and the mean old Rethuglicans defunded the sex addict outreach programs.”
It is interesting to note that the article states that his own congregation offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture.
Good for them!
He must have been a public school teacher at one time.
I never hear Roman Catholics come out so straighforwardly against their perverted religious leaders.
Needs a millstone ping
You must have missed my many screeds on the topic..now you can get back to Catholic bashing..
Then you have not been listening.
While I am not Catholic, I have noticed that almost all Catholics and all true Catholics are disgusted with the (few) priests who molest children and with the even fewer leaders who allow them to get away with it. The Catholic bashing annoys me too.
She offering him a drink, or hemlock?
(I suppose that’s actually a newshen with a digital recorder.)
Visit the threads that discuss a Roman Catholic priest’s pedophilia.
While non-Catholics are condemning the behavior, Roman Catholics by and large are simply defending their denomination, expressing their disillusionment that anyone would say anything bad about a leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
That’s the MO — a priest is caught in pedophilia, and those who are opposed to personal discernment (e.g., YOPIOS) jump right to slamming Protestants and defending their denomination.
I would suggest that you take a second look at those threads. I know of not one example of a Catholic defending anyone guilty of pedophilia. These criminals are routinely condemned by Catholics. (If you have any doubt I hereby unequivocally condemn them here and now.) Rather what I and others have protested, and will continue to protest, the implication that these crimes are uniquely attributable to the Catholic Church and are hallmarks of our faith. Those who are guilty should be severely punished but they, in truth thankfully few, do not represent the Catholic faith.
As to those who post similar crimes by Protestants (which I do not do), these postings are not to imply that these crimes are inherent in the Protestant faith but only that they are not unique to Catholics.
If we could agree that the guilt for these crimes rests on the individuals, individual that all Catholics here condemn without hesitation, and do not flow from the Catholic faith we can have peace.
hear, hear. I agree -- I condemn them all, priests/pastors of whichever faith -- if they are guilty then castration is too good for them and let them rot in the hottest fires of hell in the afterlife.
I will point back to this thread when certain Roman Catholics whine and come to the defense of their church's leadership/polity on the pedophile priest threads. I'm not trying to be ungracious; just wanting the defend-my-denomination-at-all-costs Catholics to see that some Catholics are unwaveringly opposed to pedophilia, which is a good thing.
Wiat a minute — you’ve had three Catholics tell you that “ all Catholics here condemn without hesitation, and do not flow from the Catholic faith.” and you still aren’t satisfied? If folks want to focus on the individuals at fault instead of blaming our faith, you’d see that we condemn the bad priests bishops etc. just as much. But some folks the first thing they do is to condemn our faith making it “oh, you are the one at fault!”
