Many missed the point: Obama quoting Jesus means ALL elected officials get to do the same

Obama's erroneous interpretation of Luke 12:48, which drew a rebuke from Sen. Orrin Hatch (over the invoking of the scripture not the interpretation of it) now opens up the door for ALL elected officials to talk about Jesus and how His words apply to political positions or policies on a host of issues, be it tax policy, marriage, the sanctity of life, abortion etc. while some already have done this...

You see, others have talked about "God" and "my faith dictates that I do this or that" but never has anyone went so far as to invoke Jesus' name in connection with a political position, at such a high level, and from a Democrat no less. This opens the way like never before to cite Obama as an example.

People erroneously think that God or Christianity has been driven out of the public square. They have. But more than anything, it has been Jesus Christ who has been driven from the public square.

Hence, why I have no problem with Obama invoking Jesus. The more Jesus, the better.

Thanks, Obama, for opening up the biggest can of worms yet in this area. Others have opened up cans, but not quite this big, because this has received such enormous attention. And a can opening from a liberal Dem no less.

Everything Obama says about Jesus is filtered through his Muslim faith. That is why he sounds the way he does. Obama quoting Jesus is identical to when commie libs quote snippets of Reagan. It is to dupe the weak or to try to bolster their twisted, backward arguments.

No question; when it comes to Obama's 'message'; and his arrogant/insulting 'sermonizing' under a fraudulent Christian ID; it rings hollow; inauthentic. For certain; those who have eyes and ears that can, respectively; see and hear; do not need a lie-0-meter - or a body language expert- or anyone, for that matter; to tell them, the 'truth' of Obama.

We do need more determined Leadership; that will face the truth, however; and do something 'official'; before it is to late to stop the lie/I>; who calls himself Obama.

And yes; do think a great deal of Obama's 'calls' reflect his Muslim faith or sympathies. It is inescapable. In fact; the only time Obama actually seems authentic; sincere; is when he IS speaking of Islam. . .or showing deference to it by word or deed. Speaking of it as the 'revealed' religion; and of course; you could actually feel Obama's humility (otherwise non-existent) when he took that deep bow to Arab King.

Not once; but twice. . .and so many other examples.

Obama’s 2011 Ramadan message, “Today, I want to wish Muslims across America and around the world, a blessed month as you welcome the beginning of Ramadan. May God’s peace be upon you.”

His 2011 Christmas message didn’t even mention Christ, let alone wish Christians around the world any blessed anything. In fact, 80% of it was about the military. I’m pretty sure Christmas is not a military holiday, but a Holy Day for everyone.

Agree; certainly Islam is where his heart lies; and where his lies begin. Hard to count the ways in which this man is a fraud; altogether, incredible, really.
