They may be outraged now, but the American Catholic Church has been forging alliances with the secular state on social issues for too many years. Now, the Bishops who promoted and shilled for ObamaCare look like schmucks.

I couldn’t be happier with the success of Rick yesterday.
He’s not perfect, but I am excited to see one who is faithful to Catholic teachings get this far.
He’s exactly right.
We, the laity need to support the people and bishops speaking out to fight this mandate, whether they have come late to the realization or not that Obama is bad for this country.
The bishops need to know we back them, we already know that some of them don’t have the courage to do what’s right, without being prodded by those of us in the pews.
Santorum is 100% right. These fools get in bed with the Dems to expand government entitlements and it never dawns on them that the government will use the new entitlement to force people to do what the government wants them to do. The Bishops should understand that the state is evil, period. It can’t be used for good. Sometimes it is a necessary evil, such as when it provides for a police force, but it is never a force for good in the world. The larger the state, the more chance for control freaks to get into positions of power and tell everyone what to do. So Santorum is right — the Bishops got in bed with the state and now cry about getting screwed.
Well, I gotta admit that he has a point. It's amazing to me how many allegedly "smart" people get sucked into the schemes of the left . . . . . . . . . . then wonder what happened when the time comes for the payback!

The left sucks in many of the religious with social justice.
Many of them like that aspect, though they shouldn’t. Once they get sucked in, they believe that they will somehow be innoculated from the parts of socialism/communism/marxism that they don’t like.
They are finding out it doesn’t work that way.

Good for him. Calling out the abject stupidity of people of faith voting for Obama needs to be done...over and over and over again it seems, because some of them never learn.
