This is a very liberal Chicago politico view...

I disagree with quite a bit of this article -- including how this author kicks it off + his over the top digs vs. Republicans. (But, hey, he's from Chicago...what can you expect from ObamaLand???)

What I find it interesting is liberal politicos like this one -- tapping into Christian ministries like Shield and Refuge Ministry...and Utah Lighthouse Ministry...IoW...we will see more of same rest of 2012

This then becomes, in essence, like a "scouting report" as to the ongoing ways the Democrats will have its bloggers scouring and presenting Mormon doctrine...and thereby tagging Republicans-across-the-board as racists, etc.

So, if you think only "religious FREEPERS" and Evangelicals might be interested in the tenets of Mormonism, think again. The Democrats have this sudden interest.

But not only that, Republicans who have cried "unfair! unfair!" for those who dig into Romney's Mormonism, have a lot of explaining to do then re: all the 2008 forays into Rev. Jeremiah Wright's theo-political viewpoints.

They have left themselves open to The Left re: charges of engaging in open religious hypocrisy if they object to coverage of Romney's Mormonism -- as this blogger claims.

From the Book of Mormon citations: 3 Nephi 19:25,30..."...they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness...nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof...they were white, even as Jesus."

Sounds like Joseph Smith was very much into extolling whiteness. And this isn't just some "former" teaching; the above citations & more are all still "on the books" as Mormon sacred "scripture"...meaning Mormons can't shove this into yesteryear as something they dealt with in 1978. It's still all on the Mormon theological cookbook which they feed worldwide Mormons & prospective proselyted Mormons EVERY DAY!

Opps! Somebody jumped the gun here!

The hardcore anti-Mormon articles like this are not supposed to be run until AFTER Mitt totally sews up the nomination.

This is one of the biggest reasons why the MSM and Obama have been so eager for Romney to get the nomination. And believe me, this is just the start.

They have lots more hit pieces lined up.

Just wait.

History tells us that most Republicans would fall in line behind Romney and defend things they previously cursed especially during his first term. Even here now in Maryland some tell me Romney-care was a good idea and Obama-care was a bad idea because it was national, ignoring that Romney recommended Romney-care as a national plan.

I saw Romney yesterday saying he was for the popular ‘Santa’ mandates, just against the unpopular personal mandate. That is a plan for disaster.

Of course Dems do the same with Obama. Most progressives cursed the personal mandate, in fact they supported Obama when he was against the mandate.

Romney and Obama are two of the biggest pathological liars I have seen in a while.

Yes, I expect Romney will have to answer to having been active in a church that discriminated well into his adulthood—1978, when Mitt was in his 30’s.

Also, he’d have to answer for his church not having to this day—as far as I understand—denounced that dozen or so racist statements in their founding book.

Obama and the Dems are just waiting for him to be made the official nominee before breaking out their assault on Romney on those grounds.

One might consider virtually all organized religions as being fundamentally ‘sexist’ and discriminatory somewhere in their founding documents and recent or historical practices as well, but the double standard in permitting a pass on that won’t be noted.

The continuing ‘sexism’ of the Mormon church might however rate special attention from Obama, the Dems and the MSM in honor of Romney’s nomination.

The Democrat oppo book on Romney is thick as a brick. This is only one of what we will see is many, many chapters. The Stupid Party seems hell bent on giving the Dems the candidate they KNOW they have the best chance of defeating.

We have been saying the MSM will bring this up...sadly, too many think they won’t.
