Everyone must be ready to face the fact, that now that our President has endorsed an open sin such as homosexuality, our nation is deserving of judgement, all because of what our President did.
We must all pray tonight for God to forgive us our sins and pray for Obama's salvation, that he comes to know Christ as his savior, for such a horrible thing will not go unpunished.
We also need to pray that God is merciful to our nation, for we serve under Obama, whether we like it or not. God rules in the affairs of men, sets up kingdoms and takes them away.
Endorsing such an evil thing as homosexual marriage is not a good thing, and no good will ever come of it.
Btw, that makes two mainstream POTUS candidates who have done their part to work against one-woman, one-man marriage.

...and supposed "present" polygamy occurring on Mitt's "spirit-birth" "homeland" -- the planet/star Kolob...
More than one present Lds "general authority" believes that they will be husbands of BOTH wives they were each sealed to "for eternity"...I'd say that worldview makes them not only "eternal polygamists" in their mind...but militates vs. one-woman, one-man marriage...

Possibly, but I see it from the opposite view. I think he’s seen the internal numbers and knows he’s in huge trouble. By coming out now in favor of sweetpea marriage, I believe he’s trying to earn favor with his base. Either way, he was going to announce his support for it, although he probably wanted to wait until after the election (if he won). The extremely bad polling forced his hand.
I will pray that Obama has a chance to discuss his reasoning with God within the coming week, face to face.
Long before that, he was married to that ugly ass Wookie. He has been going down hill for a long time. Run barack run!

Obama simply in other words endorsed sin.
The individual in the White House (I will never call him "our President") has endorsed abortion, which is a worse sin than homosexual behavior, often and for a long time. There's nothing new about his current abomination.
And our nation was deserving of judgement before Obama, because of the 50 million innocents we have murdered since Roe v. Wade, among other things. Obama is the divine judgement on this nation. This nation wants to live like moral pigs and -- morally speaking -- wallow in dung like pigs, so God sentences us to be ruled by a moral pig and eat the slop that pig dishes up for us. God's judgement on those who want something other than him is always simply to give it to them, in massive doses, until they're thoroughly sick of it (and ready to turn back to him in humility and repentance) ... or are destroyed by it.
God has something to say about praying when a nation rejects Him and elects evil people.
"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." —Isaiah 59:1-2
Gideon cries out in Judges 6:13 in anger against God, “but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Was God being unjust? Not one bit, Gideon was blind to the wickedness of his nation. Back in Judges 6:1 we read, "And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years."
Pray that our leaders and others turn from their wicked ways but don’t pray for them to be blessed or for this nation to be blessed until they turn back to God.

Many people think God's judgment is coming because of homosexuals and marriage. As a preacher...I hear this from the churches I visit. Perhaps it's also the abortion issue.
PEOPLE. WAKE UP. God is a HOLY God. The Religious Right, those here on FR...cannot hold out God's word as judgment in regards to the issues of homosexuality and abortion on one hand...and then ignore other RAMPANT perversion on the other. It's ALL going to get us. You have people out there screaming about how "morally wrong" it is to have homosexuals marrying each other...who are involved in extramarital affairs...pornography...pre-martital sex. You can't scream at the sin of a gay man...and not scream at the sin of the single fornicator. Read the New Testament and see which sin is addressed MORE. But the bottom line: They are both addressed. Homosexuality=SIN. Pre-marital sex=SIN. They are EQUALLY disgusting in God's eyes yet I only hear screaming about one. Why is that? Seems to me that premarital sex and adultery in marriage is doing more harm to our society as a whole than queers in Frisco.
Either your morality comes from God's word or it doesn't. And if it comes from God's word...then ALL of it is sin...and God will judge it as such.
Jeremiah Wright did have it right...and said nothing that the prophet Amos didn't say (Wright just said it for the wrong reasons). God will damn America because she has turned her back on God. She is murdering millions of the unborn. She is saying "In God We Trust" and blaspheming His name." Yes...God will judge America...not because of past racism (you hearing this Jeremiah?) but because of present (ALL) sin.

0bama's conversion, however unlikely it may seem, would be a great good not only for himself but for America.
