There could be a hidden code in the word Armageddon.
In the tradition of mystical Jewish tradition, assign a numerical value to each letter. I noticed this earlier in the year, ARMA could be code for a year like 2012 with the same number at either end. When I noticed that, I then noted that the current Jewish year was 5772 and is now (as of Rosh Hashanah) 5773. This gives you E=5, D=7 and O=3 since Armageddon hasn’t happened (quite) yet.
So what does that leave? G after 2012 and N after 5773, possibly month numbers. If you assume each letter has a unique value, something not possible until the new year in Jewish calendar time, this rules out 0,1,2,3,5 and 7. It would be logical to suppose that G went with 2012 and hence G must be 9 to 12 now. But the current Jewish month number is 7 since their calendar year and religious years start at opposite ends of the year (Tishri is month 7). Since we’ve assigned a value of 7 to D, this means that N has to be 8, 9 or 10. This means that G has to be 10, 11 or 12 (which could go with different values of N).
This also isolates possible dates of Armageddon to the period October 16 to end of the year (until October 16 we are in Tishri). Since the strategic factors peak in October this tends to isolate October 16 to 31 as the most likely time for Armageddon. I have also worked on any patterns for these combinations to see if they imply values for letters not in the word Armageddon, for example, Babylon, to see if there is any guidance there. One small item I found was that for Babylon, there was a numerical solution available for 1338 days from a date in February 2009 to a date in November 2012 (the same date of each month). This comes by giving B the value of that date (not solvable so far), A is already 2 (Feb) and Y is now 11. That means G can not be 11 under the rule of unique values. L is 13 because ON is 38 and the only significant value for L is the time difference which seems to overlap the Obama presidency almost perfectly (from first state of union speech to election result in November).
I will post further if I decode anything else, but this could all be rank coincidence.
However, if you believe in it, and Armageddon does not come in 2012, the next year it could happen would be 2032 but then the Jewish calendar goes from 5792 to 5793. The next time a qualifying Armageddon year overlaps a qualifying Jewish year is late 2452 (which becomes 6113), all the intervening chances have duplicate numbers for different letters.
Please note, in the above, the correct solution is actually G=11 and Y=10. This places “Babylon” some number of days before “Armageddon” in the 8th Jewish month.
