Father, You urge us in Your absolute mercy toward us to offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is our spiritual act of worship. You call on us, Your children in this Nation, not to conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Then we will be able to test and approve what Your will is--Your good, pleasing, and perfect will! Father, help us, Your children in this Nation, and all our American Heroes, to clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ and not to think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. We desperately need Your help to do this, Father! Teach us and help us!

We all like sheep, had gone astray, each of us had turned to his own way; but the Lord laid on You, Jesus, the iniquity of us all. O Lord, because You are our help, we sing in the shadow of Your wings. Our souls cling to You; Your right hand upholds us. When Your kindness and love appeared, You saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of Your mercy, You saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom You poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by Your grace, we would become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Almighty and Eternal God, Protect our military as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home safely to the people who love them and to the gratitude of the American people.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
