Have you ever met or even listened to someone professing to be an atheist? Have you any idea how farcical ity is to claim you KNOW there is no God, no Creator?

You can’t trust some of these so-called atheists, most of them are faking it...try the Vlad the Impaler test and give them a seat on a ten foot sharpened stake, and see if they cry out for Nobody, Oh my Nobody, for Nobody’s sake help me Nobody, Nobody save me I promise I’ll change, I swear to Nobody. Aieeeee.

Now, that hardly ever happens.

Here’s my take, and I understand everyone has a first post....

The fool has said there is no God.

And, everyone believes in something....be it a deity, money, power...

And no, the world will not embrace atheism as it’s religion. There’s a guy out there, probably right now, just waiting to be the messiah for the masses. And they will lap it up like dogs.

"Regardless of where you stand it's certainly a thought-provoking movement seeing as Atheism has long been an intellectual perspective of DOUBT in any religion"

Atheism is the sincere belief in DOUBT.

Old religion... there were two trees in the garden of Eden. Anyone with half a brain cell could figure out which tree the self professed knowers of absolutely the unkown worship. I know, I used to be an aetheist.. then I grew up and understand that at least I can humbly admit I know, that I do not.

Worldwide Atheism is required for worldwide communism.

The democratic republic set up here by the Founding Fathers requires Godly people.

Who’s winning this round?

Hello fellow free republicans! I've been reading more and more online about how Atheists have started a movement to have Atheistic Churches the way doctrinal/theological religions do. Regardless of where you stand it's certainly a thought-provoking movement seeing as Atheism has long been an intellectual perspective of DOUBT in any religion. But I found an interesting video on youtube/cleantv.com about it. It's only 3 minutes so it is well worth your time. So check it out! I'm interested to see what others think about atheistic movements in our culture.

"Fellow free republicans"? Hello, Democrat!

Atheists have started a movement to have Atheistic Churches the way doctrinal/theological religions do.

Secular Humanism is even more openly religious than Marxism. The first Humanist Manifesto described the agenda of "religious" Humanists.

The 1980 preface to the Humanist Manifestos I & II, written by Paul Kurtz says, "Humanism is a philosophical, religious, and moral point of view.

"Among religions in this country...[is]... secular humanism"

Supreme Court Justice Black, 1960
Torasco v. Watkins

Humanism believes that mankind should evolve into a world community, and that such a community necessitates a world government. Corliss Lamont declares, "a truly Humanist civilization must be a world civilization."

This sentiment is reiterated in the Humanist Manifesto II: "Each person's future is in some way linked to all. We thus reaffirm a commitment to the building of world community, at the same time recognizing that this commits us to some hard choices." One of these hard choices involves calling for a world government."

It’s an interesting little wrinkle in their strategies. On the one hand, many atheists are quite the mockers of religion and its trappings, imagining that they are far too intelligent to be seduced by such pageantry. Yet, one of the express purposes of the Atheist churches is to mimic the effects of the religious rituals that they view as silly and superstitious. They want to try to obtain the benefits of religion without giving up their high horse attitudes on the matter.

They’ve also been contending that religions are detrimental and not a benefit to society and communities. Yet, if that were true, then there would be no sense in Atheists trying to mimic any of the habits of the religious in order to build up their community. So it seems to betray the hidden truth that their atheism has left at least some void in their lives, even if they are not willing yet to admit that the void is a God-shaped one.

You need to read this statement from the site founder:

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.

I somehow doubt your stay will be very long.
