Italian Paper Says Cardinals Discovered Homosexual Network Within Vatican

The Vatican has refused to comment on Italian press reports that an internal report on the “Vatileaks” scandal might have influenced the decision by Pope Benedict XVI to resign.

The daily La Repubblica reported that in their report to the Pope, a commission of 3 cardinals investigating the leaked papal documents had found evidence of a homosexual network within the Vatican, and hinted at the possibility that some Vatican officials were subject to blackmail.

“There will be no comment, denials or confirmation of what has been written in an Italian newspaper,” Father Federico Lombardi, the director of the Vatican press office, told reporters during a February 21 briefing. However the papal spokesman urged reporters to be responsible in their handling of unsubstantiated rumors.

Father Lombardi said that the three cardinals had submitted their report privately to Pope Benedict, and it would be passed on to his successor. The three prelates who investigated the “Vatileaks” scandal and prepared a thorough report—Cardinals Julian Herranz, Jozef Tomko, and Salvatore De Giorgi—will not be giving interviews or divulging details regarding the contents of the report, he said. Cardinal Herranz, who chaired the commission, confirmed: “The Pope is the only person we have reported to on this question.”

Since my youth, I have been tolerant (almost to a liberal-like inability to see wrong) with respect to homosexuals.

Now, after watching them ruin the Catholic Churcy, the boy scouts, and virtually everything they touch...’taint the story no’ mo.

And there are a whole lot of folks out there who share my path. We’ve had it. Be forewarned.

The MSM and leftists should be happy to hear this.

He probably got led there by the pedophilia investigation, because it comes from the same place

I’m not Catholic, but just like most other churches nowadays it seems even this institution is rotten to the core. I shouldn’t be surprised given the number and magnitude of scandals over the years, it’s simply a continuation of the same.

Paraphrasing, but “Do not put your trust in men”.

I hear that. I was raised by Liberal parents in Mass. I grew up with a strong streak of tolerance. Don't bother me, and I won't bother you.

I gave that up, and not just for Lent. There are certain categories in our society for which I have no tolerance at all, and I'm pretty darn vocal about it. This isn't the country I grew up in anymore, and I know who is responsible for ruining it.

Paraphrasing your paraphrase “Do not put your thrust in men”. ;^)

The Church has been the target of the devil for millenia. Satan has worked ceaselessly to steal souls. What better way to steal them from the Church than to infiltrate the ranks of Her priests and hierarchy with his servants?

It's no coincidence that every institution that we hold dear, that was once thought of as moral and virtuous has found itself the target of 'gay' agenda.

This happened in 2010. A lay person (not clergy) was working in the Vatican, as lay people do, and was found hiring male prostitutes. So an employee is secretly homosexual. This would normally be a non issue (to the secular media homosexuality is great), but since the media can twist this into something sinister to associate the Pope with scandal, it is headline news.

This is how Soros trains the media to go after the church.

I think gays have always been a force for corruption in any society, partly because they always seem to form a clique of their own which then becomes much more powerful than its size because its members are spread throughout the institution as a whole and are united only by this one thing. So they get into advancing their “favorites,” clawing their way to power, getting rid of men who aren’t gay and thus aren’t part of the club, and building everything around the promotion of their sex lives.

This has always been a particular threat in mostly same-sex organizations, and was one of the reasons that religious orders, both male and female, received “Visitations” from Rome, during which time each member was interviewed individually and privately so that he or she could say without fear what the problem was. Unfortunately, when you have a situation where nobody seems to think it’s a problem, that’s not going to work.

However, it’s only in recent years that “gays” have decided that it’s not just a matter of who they sleep with, but a whole way of being that not only deserves tolerance but promotion and in fact imposition on the rest of society. So Rome has the additional problem that while the rest of the world would once have supported it in any efforts to root out the homosexual presence, now the world is not only opposed to it but there are possible legal problems in trying to get homosexuals out. IIRC, a few years ago, some British group was trying to have the Pope arrested under EU hate crime laws for being “homophobic.”

The unfortunate thing is not that the Vatileaks episode revealed this (and most people probably suspected it anyway), but that it has given the culprits more time to dig in and prepare their defense, and has also given them time to drum up support from the outside world.

I really hope the next Pope is strong and has got his flame-proof suit ready, because all Hell is going to break loose when he starts cleaning house.

And not just steal souls, but pollute and destroy every institution of God.

As Fr Malachi Martin said, "the smoke of Satan has entered the Sanctuary [of St Peters]"...

This is what happens when you don’t flush gays out, the military is next.....they build their networks, and protect and promote each other, until they occupy positions where it becomes almost impossible to root them out.

There will first be a war in the Conclave to see if it elects a good Pope who will clean house or a foul one who will rid the Vatican of those who oppose the Satanic agenda.

Me too and I regret it. Should have never been tolerant of my little brother having gay friends. He went from completely straight in HS and now he is 24 and getting more flaming by the day. I won’t let my 4 year old son around him unless it is in a large social situation and I try to limit those to as few as possible since his “friend” is always there and my wife and I are the only ones in the family that won’t accept him. In fact, we did Christmas dinner this year and he showed up with my brother uninvited. I’ve had it. If he wants to be around my child, he can be the bachelor uncle and figure out what he is when he is old enough to figure it out on his own. One thing he will not be; however, is the gay uncle.

I know what you are saying. For many men, lesbians are found to be some sort of intriguing mystery. Such is yet another trick from the father of lies. It’s all fun and games until marriages and families are broken apart furthering the decay of our society.

The homosexual agenda seems to have been shifted into high gear along with all the other attacking fronts in the war against all that once made our nation strong and respectable. Talking with pastor friends around the country, I am hearing the same stories of how individuals who are on fire for The Lord all the sudden come out professing they are homosexual. This is destroying our families, our churches, and our nation. The notion of live and let live when it comes to homosexuality is an incredibly insidious lie infecting people in a way that goes unnoticed until the lie starts to bear the fruit of destruction.

As Fr Malachi Martin said, "the smoke of Satan has entered the Sanctuary [of St Peters]"...

Actually, Fr. Martin was quoting Paul IV. The same sentiment was uttered by Pius X11 and Leo XIII. Pope Leo XIII was so concerned about what he saw coming that he composed the great Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.
