Italian Paper Says Cardinals Discovered Homosexual Network Within Vatican
Catholic Culture ^ | 2/21/13

The Vatican has refused to comment on Italian press reports that an internal report on the “Vatileaks” scandal might have influenced the decision by Pope Benedict XVI to resign.

The daily La Repubblica reported that in their report to the Pope, a commission of 3 cardinals investigating the leaked papal documents had found evidence of a homosexual network within the Vatican, and hinted at the possibility that some Vatican officials were subject to blackmail.

“There will be no comment, denials or confirmation of what has been written in an Italian newspaper,” Father Federico Lombardi, the director of the Vatican press office, told reporters during a February 21 briefing. However the papal spokesman urged reporters to be responsible in their handling of unsubstantiated rumors.

Father Lombardi said that the three cardinals had submitted their report privately to Pope Benedict, and it would be passed on to his successor. The three prelates who investigated the “Vatileaks” scandal and prepared a thorough report—Cardinals Julian Herranz, Jozef Tomko, and Salvatore De Giorgi—will not be giving interviews or divulging details regarding the contents of the report, he said. Cardinal Herranz, who chaired the commission, confirmed: “The Pope is the only person we have reported to on this question.”

Since my youth, I have been tolerant (almost to a liberal-like inability to see wrong) with respect to homosexuals.

Now, after watching them ruin the Catholic Churcy, the boy scouts, and virtually everything they touch...’taint the story no’ mo.

And there are a whole lot of folks out there who share my path. We’ve had it. Be forewarned.

I’m not Catholic, but just like most other churches nowadays it seems even this institution is rotten to the core. I shouldn’t be surprised given the number and magnitude of scandals over the years, it’s simply a continuation of the same.

Paraphrasing, but “Do not put your trust in men”.

I hear that. I was raised by Liberal parents in Mass. I grew up with a strong streak of tolerance. Don't bother me, and I won't bother you.

I gave that up, and not just for Lent. There are certain categories in our society for which I have no tolerance at all, and I'm pretty darn vocal about it. This isn't the country I grew up in anymore, and I know who is responsible for ruining it.

The Church has been the target of the devil for millenia. Satan has worked ceaselessly to steal souls. What better way to steal them from the Church than to infiltrate the ranks of Her priests and hierarchy with his servants?

It's no coincidence that every institution that we hold dear, that was once thought of as moral and virtuous has found itself the target of 'gay' agenda.

This happened in 2010. A lay person (not clergy) was working in the Vatican, as lay people do, and was found hiring male prostitutes. So an employee is secretly homosexual. This would normally be a non issue (to the secular media homosexuality is great), but since the media can twist this into something sinister to associate the Pope with scandal, it is headline news.

This is how Soros trains the media to go after the church.

I think gays have always been a force for corruption in any society, partly because they always seem to form a clique of their own which then becomes much more powerful than its size because its members are spread throughout the institution as a whole and are united only by this one thing. So they get into advancing their “favorites,” clawing their way to power, getting rid of men who aren’t gay and thus aren’t part of the club, and building everything around the promotion of their sex lives.

This has always been a particular threat in mostly same-sex organizations, and was one of the reasons that religious orders, both male and female, received “Visitations” from Rome, during which time each member was interviewed individually and privately so that he or she could say without fear what the problem was. Unfortunately, when you have a situation where nobody seems to think it’s a problem, that’s not going to work.

However, it’s only in recent years that “gays” have decided that it’s not just a matter of who they sleep with, but a whole way of being that not only deserves tolerance but promotion and in fact imposition on the rest of society. So Rome has the additional problem that while the rest of the world would once have supported it in any efforts to root out the homosexual presence, now the world is not only opposed to it but there are possible legal problems in trying to get homosexuals out. IIRC, a few years ago, some British group was trying to have the Pope arrested under EU hate crime laws for being “homophobic.”

The unfortunate thing is not that the Vatileaks episode revealed this (and most people probably suspected it anyway), but that it has given the culprits more time to dig in and prepare their defense, and has also given them time to drum up support from the outside world.

I really hope the next Pope is strong and has got his flame-proof suit ready, because all Hell is going to break loose when he starts cleaning house.

Me too and I regret it. Should have never been tolerant of my little brother having gay friends. He went from completely straight in HS and now he is 24 and getting more flaming by the day. I won’t let my 4 year old son around him unless it is in a large social situation and I try to limit those to as few as possible since his “friend” is always there and my wife and I are the only ones in the family that won’t accept him. In fact, we did Christmas dinner this year and he showed up with my brother uninvited. I’ve had it. If he wants to be around my child, he can be the bachelor uncle and figure out what he is when he is old enough to figure it out on his own. One thing he will not be; however, is the gay uncle.

I know what you are saying. For many men, lesbians are found to be some sort of intriguing mystery. Such is yet another trick from the father of lies. It’s all fun and games until marriages and families are broken apart furthering the decay of our society.

The homosexual agenda seems to have been shifted into high gear along with all the other attacking fronts in the war against all that once made our nation strong and respectable. Talking with pastor friends around the country, I am hearing the same stories of how individuals who are on fire for The Lord all the sudden come out professing they are homosexual. This is destroying our families, our churches, and our nation. The notion of live and let live when it comes to homosexuality is an incredibly insidious lie infecting people in a way that goes unnoticed until the lie starts to bear the fruit of destruction.

As Fr Malachi Martin said, "the smoke of Satan has entered the Sanctuary [of St Peters]"...

Actually, Fr. Martin was quoting Paul IV. The same sentiment was uttered by Pius X11 and Leo XIII. Pope Leo XIII was so concerned about what he saw coming that he composed the great Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.

Yes, it will be interesting to see what comes out, since they apparently plan to release more of whatever it is they have.

Personally, I think you’re going to find that a lot of JPII’s closest associates were involved in this hanky panky. I don’t think he was involved in it, but he was simply a weak administrator who preferred to turn a blind eye to many things, particularly those involving his friends. One of the odd things about JPII is that in many ways, he separated himself from the Church as a whole and presented himself to the world as a good, loveable Pope (and I’m not denying the good he may have done by this) almost on a free-lance basis. His responsibility was to ensure that the whole Church reflected this, but he was very lax and the little enforcement there was - either in theological orthodoxy or morals - came from Ratzinger as head of the CDF.

I’m sure BXVI has been aware of this for a long time, but I think he also feels that it would give great scandal to the faithful if he revealed the fact that JPII probably knew about it as well and did nothing.

Incidentally, I read an interesting article in the Spanish press the other day that said that BXVI has, in the last several years of his pontificate, quietly removed and replaced an average of 3 bishops a month, worldwide. He felt that a lot of the corruption, while it may have been committed by the lower clergy, only got going because the senior clergy either permitted it or even participated in it themselves. And, from what I have seen, he was right in that. Thus, one of the objectives of his Papacy was to renew the episcopate.

It’s worse than that. That wasn’t Malachi Martin, that was Pope Paul VI. Malachi Martin merely reported what the Pope was referring to: having found a black mass being conducted in the Vatican. Years later, court documents have revealed that Cardinal Bernardin, once called “the American Pope” for his incredible domination of every line of ecclesiastical power in the US was accused of sexually desecrating the sacrament (and a little girl!) in a horrifying black mass. What’s more, Bernadin was head of the papal household (”camerlingo”) at the time Pope Paul discovered the black mass going on.

So what exactly was this “black mass?” (And here I refer to the Vatican black mass only, for this contains no element of sexual abuse): The 33rd rite of initiation of the Southern Rite of the Scottish Freemasons, as detailed in Albert Pike’s book, is a mimicry of the Catholic mass, with hoods worn. Albert Pike’s book is no expose; it is the very handbook of the rite.

The Southern Rite is not your Founding Fathers’ freemasonry. It was founded in Charleston, SC in the early 19th century, and it is from whence the Ku Klux Klan came from. In contrast to George Washington’s tolerance and appreciation of Catholicsm, it seeks the destruction of Catholicism.

Guess who is from Charleston, SC? Yup. Cardinal Bernadin.

Now, this is not to lay blame for ALL the sexual abuse in the Catholic Church at the feet of the freemasons. Back in 1961, Pope John XXIII saw sexual abuse as an endemic enough of a problem to issue rules that homosexuals should not be ordained because the strains of priestly celibacy (which are far greater than mere chastity) could mutate a homosexual’s sexuality even further. I’m even convinced that what launched Martin Luther was witnessing homosexual abuse in the monastery. (Whereas he usually exaggerates to the point of slander and invention his description of misdeeds by the Church’s men, he is enigmatically cryptic about what he saw in his own monastery that convinced him that priests should marry: “unspeakable acts done by men to other men.” That he is cryptic suggests to me that it is a point of shame.) Even the very first ecumenical council after that of Jerusalem, the Nicene Council, felt it necessary to call for the defrocking of any priest who brings “scandal” (which formally means salvation-depriving shame) upon children.

But with Bernadin begins a pattern of promoting sexual deviants to the highest reaches. The ritualization of the abuse, absent from mainstream media coverage, suggests it is not merely perverted sexual desires, but rape being used as a tactical weapon to destroy souls.

Like all human institutions, the Catholic Church has corrupt members and has had them since the beginning. This fact makes its 2000 year survival all the more miraculous.

Catholics can be confident that the truly faithful will always defeat the corrupt and the Church will survive to preserve, protect and deliver Christ’s message to the world forever.

How do we know this? Jesus told us: “The gates of hell will not prevail against my Church.”

There is no other explanation.

That is true. I read once that rape is not really about sex, but about power. I don't mean the drunk who goes home with another drunk, gropes her and has sex and then the next day she charges him with rape; I don't think power was involved in that! But I mean things like Islamic rapes of non-Muslims, the rapes of males in prison, and the calculated rape and sexual abuse by the powerful (clergy) in the Church of the less powerful (lower clergy, laity, children).

And they are all motivated by Satan himself, Lucifer, whose whole disatrous fall was because he wanted power. Sexual abuse is a devastatingly effective way of destroying souls and asserting Satan's power over them.

The Cardinals came up through the ranks. If the ranks have a bad smell it only stands to reason that some of that smell is carried into the upper echelons.

It cannot be dnied that Bishops and Cardinals had to know what was going on.After all are they not the Confessors of the ranks?

I also vaguely remember (I think from Malachi Martin's Hostage to the Devil) that there was some kind of Black Mass conducted in Charleston (as a means of installing Satan into the Vatican).

Can't remember if this Charleston Mass was contemporaneous to the Black Mass in Rome?

I don’t think that statement protects the Vatican, nor does it protect every church. If it did, churches would never close due to internal corruption, hypocrisy, evil.

I think in the end “the church” will be small groups of like-minded Christians who continue to try and spread the word.

“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

I don’t think any specific denomination was declared “the church” and is therefore infallible. To do so would either be presumptuous, or arrogance.

That sounds rather far fetched, but are re Malachi Martin, see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/2975555/posts?page=2796#2796

And as re the homosexual presence, A 2002 nationwide poll of 1,854 priests in the United States and Puerto Rico reported that 30% of Roman Catholic priests described themselves as Liberal, 28% as Conservative, and 37% as Moderate in their Religious ideology. 53 percent responded that they thought it always was a sin for unmarried people to have sexual relations; 32 percent that is often was, and 9 percent seldom/never. However, nearly four in 10 younger priests in 2002 described themselves as conservative, and were more likely to regard as "always a sin" such acts as premarital sex, abortion, artificial birth control, homosexual relations, etc., and three-fourths said they were more religiously orthodox than their older counterparts. So was LOT...

Genesis 13:13
Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the LORD.

Genesis 18:20-21
20. Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and
their sin so grievous
21. that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know."

Genesis 19:4-7
4. Before they had gone to bed, all the men
from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house.
5. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them
."
6. Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him
7. and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing.

Psalms 12:8 The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men.

Doonesbury Cartoon for Feb/08/2013

Isaiah 3:9 The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.

2 Peter 2:13b Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.

Ezekiel 16:49-50
49. "`Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
50. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.

2 Peter 2

1. But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
3. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
5. if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;
6. if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
7. and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men
8. (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
9. if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.
10. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;
11. yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.
12. But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
13. They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done.
Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.

But there IS hope!!!

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10. nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

If you could NOT change, you would be in most pitiful shape...

No pair of phrases; but a BUNCH of direct quotes!

Ulysses Everett McGill: Deceitful, two-faced she-woman. Never trust a female Delmar, remember that one simple precept and your time with me will not have been ill spent.

Delmar O'Donnell: Ok, Everett.
Ulysses Everett McGill: Hit by a train! Truth means nothing to a woman, Delmar. Triumph of the subjective. You ever been with a woman?
Delmar O'Donnell: Well, I... I... I gotta get the family farm back before I can start thinking about that.

Ulysses Everett McGill: That's right, if then. Believe me Delmar, woman is the most fiendish instrument of torture ever devised to bedevil the days of man.

... until they occupy positions where it becomes almost impossible to root them out.

Leaving 'behind' my temptation to comment on the mental images just conjured up; Ya sure can't SHAME them away!

Personally, I think you’re going to find that a lot of JPII’s closest associates were involved in this hanky panky.

Closet?

The Cardinals came up through the ranks. If the ranks have a bad smell it only stands to reason that some of that smell is carried into the upper echelons.

History supports this viewpoint...

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

...but the Church manages to continue on...

I don’t understand why this would prompt that Pope to quit. They’re not implying he is part of the secret group are they?

Why not clean the mess up?
