A man in China's southeastern Guangdong province admitted himself to a local hospital after he reportedly got a live eel stuck inside him.

Not gonna say why or how, let's say it wasn't an accident. The report does not indicate whether it was consensual or if the eel was electric.
So the gates of hell have prevailed all these years. Scientists have discovered the legendary gates of hell in Turkey.
When they find the actual gates of Hell, I am left with two questions. Why would you go look for it in the first place and what will you do with it when you find it. I can't think of good answers to either question.
Because our doom cannot come fast enough, some nerds decided it is a good idea to teach robots to swim through sand like lizards. I saw Tremors and this doesn't end well.
On the upside, we could send these things down the gates of hell and see what happens. Or if not that, perhaps that guy in China with the eel BFF might be interested.

Somewhat less funny, actually rather disturbing, is not that Obama is the antichrist. If he is, he is the lamest antichrist ever. But what is disturbing is that many of his followers *want* him to be the antichrist.
That is disturbing on any number of levels. Because extrapolated from that is that they want apocalypse and annihilation. And not just for themselves, but for everyone.
And while people are too insignificant to actually bring about an apocalypse; they have proven themselves more than capable at making a serious effort at it. Dr. Eric R. Pianka, for example, enthused a whole room of scientists-Obama supporters with his idea of a worldwide plague that would kill 9 out of 10 people on Earth.
Yes, there are many insane psychopaths in the world, but these were people who might someday actually have access to deadly pathogens. And who have expressed appreciation for the idea of the near extermination of mankind.
