Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 29

A Psalm of David.

1. Give unto the LORD,
O ye mighty,
give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name;
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3. The voice of the LORD is upon the waters:
the God of glory thundereth:
the LORD is upon many waters.
4. The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5. The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea,
the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6. He maketh them also to skip like a calf;
Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7. The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8. The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness;
the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9. The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve,
and discovereth the forests:
and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10. The LORD sitteth upon the flood;
yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

11. The LORD will give strength unto his people;
the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent is Your Name over all the Earth!
How Wonderful You Are;
How Magnificent,
and How Glorious!
Magnified and Sanctified is Your Most Holy Name,
And from Generation to Generation,
Shall all People Call You Great and Wonderful!
For You Alone Are Worthy,
You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are The One True God Of Abraham!

The Heavens Declare your Glory,
And With Every New Bit Of Knowledge
We Gain Of Nature and the Firmament,
We Are Overwhelmed By The Awesomeness of You.
For You Created it All,
Your Imagination is Boundless,
Endless, Eternal, Limitless.
How can anyone presume to know Your Ways,
or to Speak For You?

Abba, Father,
As we Pray This Psalm Together,
We Once again Hear Your Promise
That Your Will Bless Your People With Peace.
It is in harmony with Your Will,
Your Word and Your Promise,
that We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem.

Oh LORD,
Your Word states what happens to Gentile Nations
that Oppress Your People.
I travail in Prayer for my Own Beloved USA,
the Land of my birth,
and for over 300 years a place of refuge
for people seeking religious freedom.
Let not Our Nation be Put To Shame
with regards to Our Friend and Ally in the Middle East,
Your People Israel.

We Pray that YOUR VOICE is the Voice that will be heard.
Not the voice of false religions.
Not the voice of political expedience.
Not the voice of slander and blood libel.
Not the voice of lies and propaganda.
Not the voice of antisemitism.
Not the voice of hate.

But The
"Kol YHVH"
that "Shakes the Wilderness,
Divides the flames of fire,
Breaks the Cedars,
Makes Mountains skip like Unicorns,
Like the Voice of Many Waters,
And All the World Will Sing of Your Glory.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

“from the midst of the fire that streamed from heaven there sounded forth to their utter amazement a voice, for the flame became articulate speech in the language familiar to the audience, and so clearly and distinctly were the words formed by it that they seemed to see rather than hear them”....Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem, the People of Israel, the persecuted church, our own nation.
