IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation. From the brave, untrained volunteers who strode into Valley Forge that Winter arose the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, world-wide defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. Today I will thank God for our spiritual ancestors who brought God’s Word to our land. . . Dear LORD, I must pray a prayer of repentance over this America. In Thanksgiving and Praise ALWAYS FIRST, I thank YOU for our beginnings…in adherence to YOUR WORD, in the shadow of THY TRUTH, the Constitution was written, the FREEDOM to WORSHIP was established…IN GOD WE TRUST was our motto and our FAITH HOPE AND LOVE. And now this verse rings over us instead of the LIBERTY BELL’S Glory…

These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised… Hebrews 11:39

Did they work in vain, have our soldiers died in vain, do those who fight for our freedom fight in vain…for the freedoms that our leaders are putting forth are for so many abominations…OH GOD, help this country to be restored to the FAITH OF OUR FATHERS…Bless those in our Military who hold these truths DEAR, and HOLD YOUR TRUTH dear, and lay down their own lives as living sacrifices for such and for us. Amen.
