Today, Father God, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and enter into Your courts with praise! We are thankful and say so to You. We bless and affectionately praise Your name! We rejoice in the Lord, and exult in the [victorious] God of our salvation!

Lord God, You are the Strength of our beloved military men and women, You are their personal bravery, and their invincible army; You make their feet like hinds’ feet and will make them to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon their high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!

We agree with Your Word and call ourselves blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) because You discipline and instruct us, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, that we may receive power to keep ourselves calm in the days of adversity, until the [inevitable] pit of corruption is dug for the wicked.

For You will not cast off nor spurn Your people, neither will You abandon Your heritage. We thank You that justice will return to the [uncompromisingly] righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. You will rise up for us against the evildoers? You will stand up for us against the workers of iniquity.

May those in authority be enlightened by Your Spirit to be led in the paths of righteousness and truth.

Thank You for all You are. We honor You in the name of Your Son and our Savior, Jesus, our Christ. Amen. (Ps. 100:4, Habakkuk 3:18-19, Ps. 94:12-16)

As you pray for America and its leaders, let God know you are ready and desirous to be used however He needs you. You have an incredible responsibility to the Lord and this nation. You can’t say no!

We come before You with humility and ask that Your divine mercy be showered upon our American heroes and all American citizens. Give us the strength to stand up for You, our love and devotion for You, and our country. Bestow upon us the guidance and wisdom to make all of us heroes, as we fight our daily battles to support and redeem our country that was founded on our belief in You and everything that You represent.

We humbly ask these favors in Jesus’ Holy Name.

Dear LORD, the fire of adversity in the Hand of ALMIGHTY GOD is an awesome and fearful thing, worthy of all Praise for with it YOU BRING FORTH A RIGHTEOUSNESS not of our own, but of YOUR GOOD WILL…Amen. For our country, Oh LORD, we have placed ourselves on this hot plate. IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.



FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who straggled into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.



AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission.
