AMEN. You’ve got that exactly right. What kind of “ambassador for Christ” knows more about birth control and family planning than the gospel of your salvation? I’ll tell you what kind. A false kind.

So then, a couple who knows that they can’t conceive and yet still have sex is contributing to the rise of homosexuality because they know they are engaging in sex without procreative potential?

You need to follow your reasoning to the end a little better.

Our arguing in favor of sex without procreative potential supports the rise and continuation of homosexuality.

The marriage bed is undefiled.

If sex without the procreative ability contributes to the rise of homosexuality, then please explain how a married couple who continues to have sex either while knowing that they can't have children, or because they're past the age of childbearing contribute to the rise of homosexuality in this nation.

And how giving the blessing to the sex act between aforementioned couples contributes to the rise of homosexuality.

Would you tell a couple who met and married late in life, where the woman passed menopause, that they shouldn't have sex because it's going to contribute to the rise of homosexuality because they can't have children?

Wow! That appears to have gone right over your head ey? NO, I don’t “acknowledge the connection” and that is a completely bizarre connection. To think that condoning sex between a man and a woman that isn’t intended for procreation as promoting homosexuality is just………well………..bizarre.

>> Do you honestly think your scripture cited supports alcoholism?<<

Did I really need to explain in detail that the comparison was sarcasm? Paul telling Timothy to use wine for his stomach or Jesus changing water in to wine is no more supporting alcoholism than married male and female having sex promotes homosexuality. Your contention that it does was just……..well…….bizarre.

If I was sitting in a church with a pastor that made that statement I couldn’t hit the door fast enough.

Nope. The procreative potential is always there. Check your bible. On the other hand, it is never there for homosexuals. (Unless you tell me you know differently.)

Do you know of a homosexual union that is potentially procreative?

My wife had to have a hysterectomy in her early 20s. Have you any idea of what you are claiming? The doubt and guilt you could be putting into some peoples minds certainly does not come from scripture.

Oh thank you for that. Just came in from a tough day at work in the world of rampant consumerism and needed a beautiful reminder of why this is a joyful season. :)

So you know they aren’t potentially procreative. Good.

(Hmmmm....let’s see. Part B of the point being made.)

Ok, now for part A.

What is the purpose of wearing a condom?

Pregnancy Jokes:

How will I know if my vomiting is morning sickness or the flu?
~If it’s the flu, you’ll get better.

Since I became pregnant, my breasts, rear-end, and even my feet have grown. Is there anything that gets smaller during pregnancy?
~Yes, your bladder.

What is the most common pregnancy craving?
~For men to be the ones who get pregnant.

What is the most reliable method to determine a baby’s sex?
~Childbirth.

The more pregnant I get, the more often strangers smile at me. Why?
~‘Cause you’re fatter than they are.

My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she’s borderline irrational.
~So what’s your question?

What’s the difference betwen a nine-month pregnant woman and a model?
~Nothing, if the pregnant woman’s husband knows what’s good for him.

Abandons the field....age old means of acknowledging a loss.

Final question. How does this joke apply?

What is the most common pregnancy craving?
~For men to be the ones who get pregnant.

The procreative potential is always there.

No it's not. After a woman goes through menopause, that's gone.

NFP advocates that a couple to abstain from sex when the creative potential is there by telling them to deliberately avoid having sex when the woman is fertile.

It therefore, advocates sex without procreative possibility or potential.

Therefore, it contributes to the rise of homosexuality in this country.

I thought of that scenario as well, although I didn't know of your specific circumstances.

I’ve yet to figure out the problem Catholics and the Catholic church has with sex.

They forbid their priests to marry and if they choose to, they have to quite being a priest and I know because it happened in my family.

Not only that, they hold up celibacy and virginity as the highest ideal lifestyle for humankind to attain.

God said, *It is NOT good for man to be alone.*.

Seems that part is pretty regularly overlooked.

Not to mention that He blessed the one flesh union BEFORE He commanded them to go and be fruitful and multiply.

Now, maybe Eve knew when she could get pregnant, but if God commanded them to be fruitful and multiply, and Eve did not conceive often, the Adam and Eve would have had to have sex pretty regularly and ofter to catch that time.

IOW, after giving man and women a strong sex drive, He encouraged them to have it.

I can just see how many Catholic fuses THAT would short circuit.

I surely don’t know how that gigantic leap gets accomplished but I can just imagine non believers reading that and having a lengthy belly laugh wanting nothing to do with “Christianity”.
