Prayer for Our American Heroes and Country

ETERNAL GOD...What HOPE...the GREAT GATHERING OF THY PEOPLE..ALL THY PEOPLE...TO SOUND OF THY VOICE, TO THE PLACE we CALL HOME...TO THE PURITY WE LONG TO LIVE WITH...TO THE PRAISE THAT WILL NEVER CEASE...TO THE GLORY THAT WILL FILL US AS IT IS IN YOU...TO JOY OF OUR SALVATION...TO THE ETERNITY THAT WILL BE IN FULL FRUITION SINCE THE DAY YOU PLACED IT IN OUR HEARTS...AMEN. WE LOOK FOR YOU LORD, WITH GREAT ANTICIPATION.

LORD, as we see the day draw near, the times YOU spoke about, OH LORD, CRY OUT TO US AGAIN...THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT...TO COME..AMEN. DEAR LORD, send forth THY HOLY SPIRIT once again in the POWER and the SPIRIT of Elijah and CALL OUT "REPENT" for the KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND...OH LORD, MAY THY WILL BE DONE on earth as it is in HEAVEN. I pray for our children...as YOU DEARLY INSTRUCTED... Little children, guard yourselves from idols....most especially I ask those that compete for the hearts of them and keep them away from YOU.

Dear LORD, as we look to this New Year with the anticipation of THY GLORY, GATHER THY HOLY ONES together in fellowship, we ask, as they serve this country. Protect our Chaplains from the onslaught of persecution that would try to stifle the PRAISE and WORSHIP of THY HOLY ONES who long to be with YOU even in the midst of trouble, in SPIRIT and TRUTH. Who desire to please YOU and who come to YOU with broken and contrite hearts in need of MERCY and GRACE. OH LORD, these are our heroes…TRUE HEARTS that desire to SERVE YOU and serve us. BLESS THEM OH LORD with THY GREAT LOVE…We thank YOU FATHER, for YOUR GREAT LOVE, that is in us, because it is IN CHRIST, and if we be in CHRIST we are YOURS. We love, OH GOD, for YOU HAVE FIRST LOVED US, and I THANK YOU for such favor, for without YOU we stand as nothing but dust..AMEN and AMEN.

And we continue to remember THY HOLY CITY, praying for the Peace of Jerusalem in THINE own words…..Amen. Psalm 102:13 But Thou, O LORD, sittest enthroned for ever; and Thy name is unto all generations. 14 Thou wilt arise, and have compassion upon Zion; for it is time to be gracious unto her, for the appointed time is come…16 So the nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Thy glory… 19 This shall be written for the generation to come; and a people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. 20 For He hath looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; 21 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; 22 That men may tell of the name of the LORD in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem; 23 When the peoples are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Happy New Year Dear Brothers and Sisters. My hope this year is for deeper resolve in the works of our Savior. To pray in Spirit and Truth, to love with a purer motive, to serve with the heart of Christ, to be ready and willing to answer any call that would bring GLORY to GOD, and good to souls. Heavenly Father,

We give you thanks and praise at all times.
We ask your blessing upon our military men and women.
Keep them close to your heart, as they are in ours.
Send your angels to protect them,
As they have been sent to protect us.
Bless their families with the assurance
That their loved ones are in your hands.
Return them to their families whole and unharmed.

The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission.
