Prayer for Our American Heroes and Nation

ALMIGHTY GOD, I thank YOU for YOUR PRECIOUS WORD, that speaks such TRUTH, to our hearts. Dear LORD, how incomplete are we if we say we trust YOU and not Praise YOU for YOUR WORD. The two are inseparable, for THE WORD became flesh, and dwelt among us, and taught us to BELIEVE, showed us how to TRUST, and encouraged us to PRAISE. FATHER, this is what YOU look for in us, to WORSHIP YOU in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. I thank YOU for the inspiration of the Psalms to be our companion in times of Rejoicing, Singing, Praising, Praying and Need. Dear LORD, David was a man after YOUR OWN HEART, and he feared, and never was ashamed to say so, for in confessing his fears, HE PROFESSED YOUR STRENGTH AND POWER…AMEN.

Dear LORD, we know, that our beloved heroes will one day, “be afraid”. IN THAT DAY, OUR MIGHTY GOD, we pray that they will find refuge in TRUSTING YOU. May YOUR WORD erupt in their hearts, souls, minds and strengths to the PRAISE of YOUR NAME, so that fear will not be their companion, but TRUST and PEACE. Dear LORD, partner TRUST and PRAISE within me, and all who leave their beloveds in THY GREAT HAND. Every time we say good-bye, it becomes the very “in the day I am afraid”…comfort us too, I pray.

May the POWER of THY GREAT FAITH be all encompassing around us and may we stand together professing these words of comfort as we wait on YOU: Psalm 54:10 … this I know, that God is for me. 11 In God--I will praise His word--in the LORD--I will praise His word-- 12 In God do I trust, I will not be afraid. Amen.

Please join me in Faith, Hope and Love, with prayer unceasing for our beloved heroes and nation. May we remember too our athletes who represent this country among those nations. Let us be ever mindful of Israel and pray for the Peace of Jerusalem who live among those very nations that rage. And may we be humble enough to realize that we too must pray for an awakening for them...as Faith has said in her last post...to bring forth the Return of our LORD, for there truly is much work to be done... Amen.

Lifting up our heroes, as those in power have seemed to have forsaken them and discounted their sacrifices.

Lifting up, Israel - as Iran trumpets - America's surrender.

Lifting up our athletes - their safety, and their testimony.

And lifting up America - that we may reclaim that which was lost, and ignite a Great Awakening.

Amen to Every Word of your Heartfelt, Powerful Prayer, Dear Servant of Jesus Christ.
