Lord, you are in control of everything. Many may think they have the power, but without you upholding things by the Word of Your power, we would be but mere cosmic dust on the windowsill of life. (

So Lord, I ask for You to enclose our nation inside Your hedge of protection. I pray You give the athletes competing in Sochi the same protection You give all your children. Lord, while many if not most athletes competing in the Olympics are clueless of the truth, my heart ways heavy with worry about their safety. If there be anyone planning them harm, I pray you foil their plans by bringing them to a realization of the misguided way they believe, or lead the authorities to them so that they can be brought to justice.
Lord, I especially pray for Your hand of protection and comfort to be laid upon the men and women who have, or still are, putting their lives in harms way so that we in America can be safe from the kind of cowardly attacks we have experienced O so many times in our history.
O'Lord my God, I pray for your blessings to be poured out upon the families of those brave men and women in these difficult times we live. Lord, you told Abraham that the Egyptians would bless your people before they left Egypt.(
Genesis 15:14) 620 years later this promise from You O'Lord was fulfilled when Your servant, Moses, led your children out of bondage.(
Exodus 12:36)
Well Lord, I don't ask for the plunder that was allowed, but I do pray for You to touch the hearts of those who live nearby so that they will share their plenty with the military families in need. I pray that their generosity will help make their lives a bit easier while awaiting the return of their loves ones fighting this war of terror against Satan's minions from hell.
All this can only be accomplished by and through You O' Lord. I pray this in Jesus Name my Lord,
