I like this quote:

"We, of all people, know the value of change as we have been brought from death to life. However, we are only willing to change where we are freed by the Scriptures to do so. We are a people bound by the Word of God; our conscience is constrained by it, and from this position we cannot move."

We’ve already lost. God will end this by destroying the country and perhaps the world.

Well, actually the freeing is done by the Holy Spirit.

But there are biblically valid ways of moving past sexual sins, homosexuality being only one such sin, but one which has baffled a lot of theologians who never got involved with such issues.

There is a general way of getting the things of the body straight before the Lord. “Offer the members of your body as weapons of righteousness.” Weapons. You fight with weapons.

In the case of dealing with homosexual sinning, it’s not so much “pray the gay away” (pace Michelle Bachmann) as “pray the straight to you.” The Holy Spirit is the experiential tutor in this process. Good theology and good bible knowledge helps, but it’s something that has to actually be done to be understood.

I think the Lord is pretty disgusted with this kind of blues singing. Maybe as far as YOU have been willing to muster yourself before the Lord, it’s a losing game. But anyone with a heart for evangelism should beg to differ.

We have lost the battle over homosexual marriage, because judges have decided that not allowing homosexual marriage is the same as not allowing interracial marriage. Judges have decided that homosexuality is a minority group under civil rights laws, even though there is no such statement regarding homosexuality in our laws. Since judges have decided that’s how it should be, that’s how marriages laws are being interpreted.

Ah waaaaa, we act like we’re lost!

Well, evangelism is needed, and some of it to the nominally saved who don’t know how to avail themselves of God’s promises.

Grrrr... God is angry. I know it. And a lot of it at CINOs rather than frank lost sinners.

We must use the power of conservatives to legislate laws that protect families and end gay marriage. We must also only appoint or confirm judges who are Pro Family and impeach those who oppose our Constitution, faith avid values.

A constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marriage or repeal the 14th Amendment.

And you will be an abomination before the Lord until you can reach out to them like Christ.

The Holy Spirit never went anywhere. America just stopped paying Him much attention.

That indeed is true and encouraging. Eternal security.

What we DO with the platform of that security matters very much before the Lord. We should be calling sinners to the embrace of the Holy Spirit.

Sadly the courts are taking the gay marriage issue away from us even though we’ve had considerate victories stopping at a state by state level.

I don’t know right now how to get around that. What I do know is that gay marriage is not the only issue on the table. Another front is the forced acceptance of gay culture and behavior, to the point of gays trying to stomp on everybody’s else’s right to impose themselves upon us in every social arena they can especially in forcing businesses to cater to their lifestyle and propagandizing it on our schools.

The other is that LGBTP isn’t just about gay. It’s about gender as well as age. Meaning they are also trying to erase the normally accepted structure of gender (male/female) and enforce in our public bathrooms and locker rooms. Which leads in turn to their desire toward the real goal, which is to get rid of age of consent laws and get at our children.

I think by expanding in to these areas the LGBTP movement is already starting to overreach, and the backlash is coming. We need to position ourselves for that use the backlash to knock them back on their heels. Though we might never get the gay marriage issue back we can at least stop the completely onslaught of the LGBTP movement’s attempt to completely define sexuality and gender in this country.

Our nation, as a whole, has turned it’s back on God. And yes, we all hold some responsibility in this. When a nation turns their back on God, there are always consequences for that nation. It doesn’t mean God stops loving us, or stops saving the lost, but there are always consequences. The Bible is replete with examples from Israel’s past illustrating this. 2 Chronicles 33 is one example. God caused calamity to fall on Israel until they repented of their sin.

Sadly, even some churches have exchanged truth (as contained in God’s Word) for the lie of tolerance. If our nation doesn’t repent, we are in for dark days.

Most delusional post ever.

1. The conservative movement has no power.

2. None of those things will ever happen.

I realized this year that the conservative movement is absolutely dead as a major political force. The liberal movement has been so spectacularly successful it's breathtaking. Liberals control literally everything now.

Rand Paul said the other day that the GOP won't win the White House again in his lifetime, and I believe him.

Here's a good argument against accepting the homosexual lifestyle that even the middle can relate to.

The Health Risks of Gay Sex

Apart from that, we still have our spending $$$. Avoiding companies that support leftist causes would be a good use of that weapon, assuming we still have the will to do so.
