Which principle is more important in your opinion, and the Lord’s Mind, refusing to raise up children for his dead brother (ignoring the means), or “spilling his seed,” deliberately negating the purpose of the marital act?

Where many bishops and priests have failed is in boldly proclaiming Church Teaching. Nothing new there, though. Catholics can be weak and sin by omission, just like anyone else.

God has a calendar, it is detailed in scripture
So does Satan, not in scripture
God has appointed times when He would be in Israel’s presence-new moons, feasts, holy days, Sabbaths- in scripture, to separate them (and us) from the world.
Satan too has holy days- his two most holy days are NOT April fools or Halloween, but December 25th, and easter Sunday - both not in scripture.. his calendar is also used by jews, muslims and christians and secular humanists alike, uniting the world...
The christian community ignores God’s calendar. A percentage of Jews do to..they seem to only use it two months of the year when trying to find passover and when trying to find the day of atonement.
Now, if one cannot see God’s calendar, given to the world through the Jews, then it shouldn’t surprise anyone that those same people would use a Greek/latin transliterated word for the Jewish messiah’s name.
If His Jewish roots have been erased, then His fulfilment and plan of salvation shown through Yah’s feasts are lost.
It makes sense then to see how a perfect transliterated English name for the Messiah, Joshua, gets left out of English translated new testaments for a Greek/Latin transliterated name that no Jew was ever named.. the Hebrew name Yahshua certainly was transliterated into Joshua in the old testamemt- but why not into our English versions- certainly a valid question that probably no one knows the answer to, except maybe, tradition.
So, follow the logic..
The Creator of the universe sent His son, named truthfully Joshua in English ( first book after the books of Moses)
The name that is above all names is not used, either in the Hebrew form(Yahshua), Aramaic form (Yeshua), or even a proper transliteration of the name in English for English speakers (Joshua)
Instead, Jesus, a name never used by his mother, Father, disciples, anyone...is now the name above all names.
And churches and their calendar tells us he was born on December 25th and raised on easter sunday.
So, churches mostly teach Jesus was put to death on a friday and raised up on easter Sunday, and satan’s calendar notes this with good friday and easter Sunday.
Scripture however, is unclear when Joshua, the son of God, was really born . But there are passages in scripture that tells us it wasn’t winter.
In scripture, Joshua ( again, a perfectly acceptible english transliteration of Yahshua) was killed on the 14th day of the first month (not findable with Satan’s calendar)
Rested in the tomb on the sabbath day, the 15th day, which began the feast of unleavened bread.
He rose frorm the tomb on the third day, the 16th day of the month first day of the week and the wavesheaf first fruit day in Leviticus..
The 14th, 15th, 16th of God’ s first month is not noted as importwnt days on satan’s calendar, even though both the old and new testaments state those days clearly.
The Gregorian calendar, in part, was developed to actually find easter, a non scriptural holy day- the most, or second most holy day in the christian calendar, usually celebrated today along with the secular humanists who use bunnies and eggs and chocolates to ring in the beginning of spring..
And a little aside, this past year on God’s calendar, easter sunday was the fourth work day of His week..
With a simple calendar of his own, Satan has stolen proper worship from God. He has led, using all churches cleverly, even the very elect to worship different doctrines, different days, and different holy appointed times, not found in scripture.
Church doctrins and traditions have had many years( and so has Satan) worked to get things so off of God’s timekeeping and God’s appointed times, that it would be such a major change in a person’s life to reject Satan’s timkeeping and follow after and worship God and all He has given us. After all, God’s calendar isnt used by the business world or the powers that be in the world.
Church has the calendar wrong, the holy feasts wrong, the sabbath wrong, uses a name never used for one Jewish person as their messiah, celebrates unscriptual holy days and is angry when people trespass on those, and then we wonder how the last church age is lukewarm or how the world makes no sense..
It makes perfect sense.
I don’t think this stuff will give many people, stuck in the world’s and/or churches traditions, a lump in their throat or weak knees.
It is safer to believe what you have been told, confirmed by the world.. certainly the entire world wouldn’t follow after the beast..
They do when they use his calendar...
Worship is REALLY important to God, and it is to Satan too.
I hope as a bible believer, you take an interest in God’s Calendar and can unlearn all you were taught to believe and can repent from the satan’s current calender, the gregorian (just the latest-Julian was one too) And let Him lead you further out of this crazy, satanic led world.
Satan has had many years to counterfeit God. Almost not fair to us because we are sheep..
How do people know a counterfeit bill when they see one? You have to spend all your time learning what a true bill looks and feels like..
But if you know genuine, you can spot counterfeit quick.
If all you ever learned was counterfeit, genuine truth is not accepted. It’s odd or phony...
Unlearning counterfeit is not comfortable.. kind of like being robbed.. and the more you are saved and invested in that counterfeit , the more the theft hurts...
Satan is a master counterfeiter and liar and a fan of false doctrines. and his job is to steal worship, anyway he can, from the one true God..

In the grand scheme of things, how far off Really are you from each other?
-Your worship day depends on the same calendar, which I show as counterfeit.
-Your savior’s name is Greek/Latin- which one church still uses as a language in their services- you still use it as the name above all others
-your churches celebrate the holy days of Christ mass (DEC 25) and easter Sunday (reason for the Gregorian calendar, in part)- which scripture shows are not ordained as holy days..
(easter sunday and December 25, Christ’s mass, were both work days on God’s calendar)
-december 25th is the absolute toughest day to buy or sell as it seems the entire world closes down.. (quite a scary note considering what revelation says about buying and selling)
Last question, if Satan is a counterfeiter of God, and God has a seal- name, title and territory( like all kings and leaders do) .. and God’s seal is located not in the ‘thou shalt not steal’ commandment, but in the Sabbath commandment, is it not a stretch to think Satan’s seal, sign or mark would be a counterfeit of the eternal, perpetual Sabbath then?
Satan’s calendar gives each religion of the world, their own sabbath...
Perfect cover for the world, that follows after all that is right in their own eyes anyway...
As as children of God, who believe in His only begotten Son, are not of the world... we are called to come out of it..
Good start is rejecting the world’s calendar and use what God gave us in Scripture and in His sky- His sun, and His moon, to tell us His appointed times and holy days and Sabbaths...
Or you can enjoy and follow January 1st, February 2nd, February 14th,March17th, April 1st, just to name a small few holy days on Satan’s calendar.
None biblical, but hey, its a choice we all have..

Moed and Chodesh in word studies are critical to knowing His calendar. Month and new moon is the same word in Hebrew.
He appointed [created] the moon for seasons [moed.” (Psalm 104:19)
Moed again means appointed times of assembly.( not seasons like we understand them)
The Gregorian calendar skips the moon.. Uses just the sun.
The new moon meaning ‘month’ in Hebrew as the same word is not an accident.
A study of the new moon and its occurances and its tie to the feasts and the Sabbaths in scripture are a way to see His calendar pop out.
Passion week is played out in Leviticus way before our Messiah came..
So, Ezekiel 46:1 puts it, quoting God himself:
1. New moon (new month day- first day of month that had the markets closed (Amos 8:5) but the temple was to be open special offerings are listd in sripture. banquets and feasts were held on this day too.
2. Six work days (days 2,3,4,5,6,7 in His month)
3. One Sabbath day (the seventh day of the week, but the 8th day of his month)
Then six work days, the the 7th day sabbath(15th of His month) ..
then another six work days, then another sabbath (22 day of His month and was the first sabbath recorded in Exodus).
then six more work days( then His last Sabbath day of His month).
Then a new moon is to be observed in the sky and not calculated by a smartphone.
The moon phase is on average 29.5 days..
God’s calendar first taught tonMoses in the wilderness has four equal Sabbaths each. Hodesh, and unlike the solar calendar, renews each new moon (month same word in Hebrew- hodesh)
Now scripture says times and laws would change (Daniel 7:25) and the whole world would follow after the beast.
So, accoding to scrioture, at the beginning of each month in God’s calendar, there is a day that is neither a work day or a seventh day Sabbath (according to Ezekiel 46)..
That is the new moon day.
By Ezekiel, There is one time, each month, that there are seven days before the sabbath- no continuous seven day weeks since the beginning of time.
Best evidence in scripture?
The battle of Jericho.
It was a seven day march. God, after 40 years in the wilderness , He would not allow Israel to violate a His sabbath as one of their first acts?
He changes not.
And with the Gregorian calendar, there is an obvious violation of the sabbath.
With His calendar, if they began the march on the new moon day, Israel did not violate the sabbath... ( and the book of jasher, noted in our scripture a couple times, says that the battle did in fact begin on the new moon day the first day of His month)
That is why there are no days named in scripture, only numbers..
The Gregorian calendar is a work of science and man and only uses half of God’s timekeeping tools in the sky.
And when the moon isn’t involved, it is imposible to find His appointed times and His appointed times (especially His Sabbath)
And it isn’t easter or christmas- that just helps to confirm the counterfeit Gregorian calendar floats around God’s and each day of the Gregorian week has the same chance to be the Seventh day sabbath each chodesh.
And His calendar isn’t a mystery, just lost..
It was observed in our Savior’s day..and then calculated calendars came about.. which scripture says would happen that even time and laws would be changed.. Daniel 7:25
Last point.. God’s seal ( name, title and territory) is in one place in the ten commandments, the sabbath commandment.
I think it is that important..
the choice is God’s seal or Satan’s mark on our foreheads and hands..
both have a calendar.
both have holy days..
One is scriptural, eternal and seen in creation.
The counterfeit is found on your smartphone and wall calendar with maybe has Bible verses and man made holy days on it to boot...and the world follows that one religiously.

What does that mean to you? What commandments was He talking about?

If you want to discuss the “real” name of God, the “real” calendar, the “real” Sabbath , the “real” whatever, start a thread on it.
Don’t go hijacking other threads to push your agenda.
I will not engage in that tactic.
You need to pay attention to context and whom is being spoken to when you use scripture, and not frame it to fit or suit the agenda you desire be promoted on this thread.
But this thread isn’t about the stuff your raising so this will be my last post to you on this thread.
Perhaps you and some of those who follow your beliefs should do a ‘caucus thread’ where you can discuss these things among one another.
Unfortunately no matter what scripture is presented...they cannot “see” the truth Elsie.....(Remember where the law is read...there’s a veil over their eyes.)
They have a deep desire to “correct” everyone else and believe we are all doomed for not believing as they do. That mindset does not make for a good exchange of scripture or comments as we’ve noted on other threads.
Sad really, can’t dialogue because they really can’t see through the “veil”....and only Jesus can remove that.

The churches commit fornication and Idolatry in revelation.. unfaithful sins committed against their neighbors, for not loving them, or sins against YHWH, for not loving Him?
He says, specifically in the Idolatry commandment in exodus- showing mercy to thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.(exodus 20:6)
Is it not possible Satan does his most devious work in the churches and not outside of them?
Is it possible the churches have ignored all of YHWH’s commands and have trusted only in something like the ‘Believe and Receive’ message and not what Messiah commands us to do, ‘Repent and Believe’?
He gave it to each individual and then to churches..
Repent takes real action. Love, too, takes real action.
How far have the churches really repented from fornication with other gods (or the god of this world) and idolatry (including the worship of the god of this world)?
Is it easy to see, or is it hidden?
Because there was comments back and forth abut certain doctrines, I commented on how their churches share more than faith in Messiah than they think about.
And point is this... is their faith in Messiah or is it shared with
their specific church?
Is Messiah defended or is their church doctrines defended more?
I don’t want to belong to a church... I want to belong to Messiah..
and in then last days, it may very well be a choice between one or the other..
Choice between the counterfeit and the genuine.

I commented in response to some infighting between a catholic and a non catholic due to their snarking over doctrine ( which does appear to be a common theme )
and tried to explain how they really are not that far off at their core with their doctrines- considering the world we live in, run by the god of this world, Satan.. and his affection for all things, church..
and then provided proof how even this very elect,who go to church every Sunday, can be deceived by the prince of the power of the air.
No agenda here. No church to crow about here. No pastor/priest to forward you to so you can go listen to them here. No offering asked for here. No books to sell here.. no website to link you to here..
