Joel 1

A Call to Repentence

New International Version (NIV)

12 The vine is dried up
    and the fig tree is withered;
the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree—
    all the trees of the field—are dried up.
Surely the people’s joy
    is withered away.

A Call to Lamentation

13 Put on sackcloth, you priests, and mourn;
    wail, you who minister before the altar.
Come, spend the night in sackcloth,
    you who minister before my God;
for the grain offerings and drink offerings
    are withheld from the house of your God.
14 Declare a holy fast;
    call a sacred assembly.
Summon the elders
    and all who live in the land
to the house of the Lord your God,

According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection

We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This passage of The Prophet Joel is a Call To Repentance for an Entire Nation. Symbolically, the withering of the trees and the loss of Prosperity coincide with a Nation's falling away from Righteousness. In the Spirit of Scripture, not only is Judgement pronounced, it is followed by the Solution. Repentance, turning away from sin, and prayer. The Prophecy particularly calls upon the Religious Leaders to take the Initiative. Unfortunately, many Christians in America are suffering the humiliation and discouragement of their very own religious leaders falling short of the Mandate from God of leading and setting an example.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

When God is displeased, the people suffer. Let us turn to God and away from the abominations this nation is embracing. To do so for political correctness is not pleasing before the LORD. The Word of God is clear, do we read it? Do we honor it? Do we repent of our sins?

Government is not to be praised when it is against the Word of God. Forgive us LORD. We desire to be pleasing before Thee, in Jesus name amen. We join in prayer for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, for the persecuted believers seeking to know God; and for America to be restored to our former faith and values.
