Where in any of the news reports does the Pope indicate that he believes a sin has been committed?

But the Pope’s buddy loves the sin, “knowing that homosexual love is His gift, which is not less than the heterosexual.”

Maybe it’s “Love the sin, love the sinner.” All you need is love. Love love love.

Jesus was harsh with priests. He was gentle with sinners who were laity.

“But I guess he’s following Obama’s example of kowtowing.”

Jesus washed the dirty feet of His Apostles.

Don't tell another Freeper what he knows. That is mind reading. It is a form of "making it personal."

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Obsequiousness toward a pervert who openly attacks the teachings of our Church is certainly a new low. This gesture is degrading to the office he holds and an objective insult to God. The symbolism is impossible to ignore, particularly in light of his stated desire for reform and his contempt for tradition and apparent lack of concern for the dignity of his office. It is customary to kiss the hand of religious superiors, yet in this instance he has deliberately inverted the practice.

Whom of the apostles were advocates of “homosexual love”?

“Whom of the apostles were advocates of “homosexual love”?”

Where did I ever claim any Apostle ever was?

“What’s up is easy to understand. “Hate the sin, but love the sinner.””

Now there you go being all logical, sensible, and reasonable and stuff. Ya’ just can’t have that here in this thread.

Don't tell another Freeper what he knows.

I was pretty much copying and pasting what was directed towards me in post #31. I'm glad you caught that.

At this point, I am inclined to believe that Pope Francis has some mental problems. He seems to be confused on many, many issues.

He seems to have a firm grasp on God's Love and also the concept of treating the enemy with love too - it's as pouring hot coals upon his head.....

YES!!! Affirming a heretical enemy of Christ in his capacity to teach and influence Christians towards grave error is indeed a form of love.

Compare the Pope's kind treatment of Fr. Sean Fagan and Don Michele De Paolis with the persecution of Fr. Stefano Manelli, founder and first Minister General of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate. The community he founded and led has been smashed by Pope Francis' Apostolic Commissioner. The apparent double standard being applied regarding "mercy" is impossible to miss. Is this brand of "humility" and "forgiveness" reserved for homophiles and others who attack the Natural Law in regard to sexual morality and Christ's teachings on marriage? While the Pope is kissing Don Michele's hand, Fr. Manelli is under house arrest, forbidden from going to Avellino in order to visit his parents' grave and to celebrate Mass. The treatment of Fr. Manelli, a spiritual son of St. Pio (blessed in the womb by Saint Pio, from whom he also received his First Holy Communion, and went to for Confession, spiritual direction, and religious formation) and of the order he founded makes it abundantly clear that those who strive for orthodoxy do not merit the same degree of mercy as those promoting heterodoxy.

Who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah?

Was it not God, Who did so?

Who commanded the Great Flood due the wickedness of man?

Exactly. Sweetness and adulation towards the enemies of Christ; a boot on the neck of Christ's defenders.

Communists are atheists. I’d say he’s certainly a socialist. They’re a lot more muddled, which seems to fit this Pope to a tee.

The symbolism is impossible to ignore,

Except for those who wish to defend anything Francis does or says.
