This priest is not just a sinner: he is a heretic. He is promoting changes to Church teaching.

Did Jesus kiss the hands of heretics?

I believe it was Paul that taught, we have the right to judge other Christians, if they are sinning, we are to turn them away until they repent. When they repent, welcome them back with open arms. He spoke of this in Corinthians, the Corinthian church....

The folks that Jesus bestowed his hand, ate with, asked to follow him, etc were not yet Christians.

This priest who endorses homosexuality is not following the Lord, the Bible, etc. There is a difference, Jesus said, Go and sin no more”....

apparently much of the advice of the Holy Spirit via Paul’s writings is being ignored. you can pray for them but you can’t give them legitimacy and that’s exactly what he’s done.

Good point. The Corinthian church was instructed to do so....hmm. I will have to think about that. Thanks.

I don’t believe anything in the Bible has changed.

It never has and it never will. It's the Word of God. Since God hasn't changed, why would His word do so?

All those you mention repented. And they weren’t leaders.

To embrace an activist gay priest is repugnant. Millions of kids are watching and will think there’s nothing wrong with the lifestyle.

I don’t think you have the analogy correct.

If one of Jesus’ disciples were practicing the items you list he may have acted differently toward his disciple.

A more correct analogy would be if a non-leader came to the Pope and acted the way in which this priest has acted, then I believe your post would be correct. But we don’t have that.

We have a leader in the catholic church which is violating the requirements for being a leader, overtly sinning (I assume he is a practicing homosexual), and also encouraging others to do sin in like manner. Many verses which show that this individual needs to removed from his leadership, and possibly put out of the church.

I wonder how many heterosexuals are influenced to commit homosexual acts by this attitude of practicing Roman Catholics.

By the same token, I wonder how many heterosexuals will be influenced to commit homosexual acts because you made this silly statement.

None, but those who condone homosexuality in the Body of Christ are complicit. More evidence of a charade within the RCC pretending to be the only church, when they instead promote worship of anything other than through faith in Christ.

The Pope is off to a rousing start, routinely violating the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Commandments, an now this open endorsement of a priest’s homosexuality by allowing him to perform the Mass with Him.

This is becoming beyond disturbing. Is Suwa available? He would’t want to miss kissing her.

When I heard about this, I ran down to the Fishermans Wharf and let ten men serially bugger me.

Now I cannot sit down.

The word love sure gets misused

Especially about presuming what Christ felt...

And this Pope sure gets the benefit of a sea of rationalization

Did Jesus “share the pulpit” with those sinners?

Did He kiss the sinners hands?

...absolutely...why can’t they be more like those Protestants, who wouldn’t be caught dead having homosexual leaders in their ranks...

Well maybe, but I’ll toss myself into the sinner camp and sure hope Christ loves me.
