Read and obey Yehova’s word would be good for starters.

So throw out God’s word?

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."330

-----------------

There are ecumaniacal (Modernist) fingerprints all over this statement from the catechism. Even if a case could be made that it is technically true that Christians and Muslims worship the same Creator (though the latter possess a distorted perception of God) the statement is deceptive because it is incomplete, and as such it implies a false parity between Christians, who are called to turn the other cheek and Muslims, who "adore" the Creator by chopping off other people's heads.

It is doing to the Catholic church what it is doing to the USA, conquering by infiltration and policy changes

That seems to be the plan. And the Pope cluelessly welcomed them into Central Command, where they triumphantly prayed for "victory over the infidels". Hopefully he'll learn from this mistake.

So say who? You? I don’t know what you are talking about and you are not Catholic so I guess I don’t really need to know what you think. You sure as Hell don’t care what I think so. Have a great day.

A man in his position cannot afford to be making those kinds of mistakes.

Do people really not understand that islam is all about conquest? And when they’re done with the infidels, they’ll turn on each other and eat each other alive like the Sunnis and Shi’ites already are doing.

I do not understand the let’s not offend anyone and tell the truth mentality that thinks everyone is all good and we shouldn’t think anything bad about other people but give them a chance.

And in the last 1,000+ years of its existence, islam has given people how many reasons to think they’ll come around and play nice?

Matter of fact, the Catholic church of all people, should know what to expect out of islam. Something about the Crusades.........

At least the Muslims understand their version of their “Great Commission”.

Too bad some professing Christians don’t.

During his visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority the previous month, Pope Francis had invited Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to attend the event. Both leaders accepted the invitation, and sat with the Pope while prayers were said and chanted in the Vatican garden. The imam, however, went beyond the script that had been handed to the Vatican in advance. He included in his chanted prayer verses 284-286 of Sura 2 in the Koran, the last part of which calls for Allah to grant the Muslims victory over the infidels. His words were broadcast live to a television audience, but they were in Arabic, so most non-Muslim viewers had no idea what he had said. This apparently included the Vatican hierarchy.

When someone who did understand Arabic pointed out what had happened, a Vatican spokesman at first denied that any such thing had occurred. Those verses weren’t in the advance script — how could he possibly have said them? No Muslim, especially a respected imam, would ever go back on his word! Later, when that story became untenable, the Vatican soft-pedaled the added text, saying that there was nothing really wrong with it. To further complicate matters, a doctored tape of the Arabic prayer was released in which the final part of verse 2:286 was edited out. It’s not clear who did the editing, but the altered version certainly did serve the interests of the Vatican. With the help of Vlad Tepes, I was able to track down a complete video of the prayer from an Arabic television channel and then have it translated (by a volunteer who prefers to remain anonymous) and subtitled. As far as I can determine, the imam’s name was never made public, either by the Vatican or the English-language Arab news sites. I’m told he’s Palestinian, and his distinctive headgear identifies him as having the authoritative credentials of Al-Azhar University

You know I don’t mind it once in a while, but the pro-Catholic articles on this very website do get out of hand sometimes.

True.

And it's the 99.7% that give the rest of them a bad name.

You don't know what I'm talking about because you never read the scriptures?
Isaiah 8:

[6] Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
[7] Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
[8] And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
[9] Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
[10] Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

Thank you for your words of concern friend. I am not in despair; however. I do know that God is in control and He will not allow the Gates of Hell to prevail (even if it appears that the Devil is winning). At some point God will turn this around. It may be the end times we’re living in though. Or I may not live to see it.
