First Scientific Proof Of God Found
http://witscience.org ^ | June 22, 2014 | Dr. Richter DasMeerungeheuer

W.I.T. scientists, in conjunction with the Human Genome Project and Bob Jones University, have made what may be the most astounding discovery of this, or any generation. While working to understand and map the function of sequences of DNA in the human genome known as “Junk DNA” (for their lack of known function), scientists at W.I.T. noted that while the DNA sequences they were seeing bore little resemblance to the coding for biological function, they bore a striking similarity to the patterns of human language. Gene Bmp3 has a Retrotransposon sequence which translates to the well-known 1 Cor 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” This is repeated over and over throughout the entire sequence of human DNA: embedded equivalent genetic code of ancient Aramaic that seems to translate as the word of god to his people.

I knew it was fake when I saw the name Dr. Richter DasMeerungeheuer.

But fake can still be fun.

That is a atheist website that claims God does not exist.

I don’t think science is supposed to find proof of God. We all find things that we may feel are proof of God in our own eyes but scientific proof would be destructive to faith.

I tend to agree with you.

It's a question of simply being able to know everything.

Is there ever or can there be an end to knowledge ?

I suspect that if we ever actually know all that can be known, that will be the end of the world as we know it.

There would no longer be any reason to explore, no reason for curiosity, nothing left to strive for, if everything is known.

For those who don’t know German, Das Meerungeheuer means THE SEA MONSTER. :)

Striving for knowledge is good but the only way we’ll ever gain total knowledge is when God gives it to us.

"Dear Ephesus" (Link), a Chrisian apologestics site, says this is a complete lie, and advises against having anything to do wiyh it.

"So, there’s this article floating around the internet that claims scientists have discovered the first evidence of God’s existence. (No need for you anymore, Romans 1…)

The article has been shared almost a quarter-million times on Facebook, where I first came across it. The title was intriguing, so I went ahead and clicked on it. But the more I read, the more things seemed fishy to me. By the time I finished I felt like I was as at a fisherman’s wharf.

Why? Because this article is obviously not real. It’s completely fake.

Let’s count the ways in which this article should raise some red flags:

It’s from the Wyoming Institute of Technology… which doesn’t actually exist. Don’t believe me? Go to their website and try to apply or even get a campus tour. Good luck!

It claims that a fictitious institute joined up with the Human Genome Project and Bob Jones University, but neither of these real institutions make the same claim.

Its author is Dr. Richter DasMeerungeheuer, which means Judge the Leviathan in German – not a real name.

It cites BJU professor Matthew Boulder as being part of the discovery who is about as real as Dr. Judge the Leviathan.

All this reminds us of one simple lesson – you can’t always trust everything you read on the internet, even if you want to.

It’s not bad apologetics, it’s fabricated apologetics.

Not only this, but it’s a false witness. Assuming the author of this article wants to promote faith in God through science, he or she is going about it in a very bad way. This article is worse than bad apologetics for the Christian faith.

Why? Because it’s not bad apologetics, it’s fabricated apologetics.

We are called to defend faith well and honestly. This article is a great example of what it means to bear false witness and misrepresent the very God that the author seems to be defending, which presupposes that God (not faith) needs defending in the first place.

I would say to chalk this article up to bad scholarship, but it doesn’t even deserve that.

It’s a complete lie.

We are designed to seek knowledge, it’s our nature.

Truth, is what we seek.

Mystery, is a necessity for life.

Striving for knowledge is good but the only way we’ll ever gain total knowledge is when God gives it to us.

Will this "total knowledge" include God's reason for sharing it with us? And whether he is actually a man?

I never expect there to be “scientific” proof of God.

God is beyond that.

What use is a God that could be put in a test tube and turn litmus paper blue?

By the way, back in the day when Dean Koontz wrote science fiction rather than horror, he wrote a story for Ace Doubles, in which God was confined in a cage by men for centuries. When he finally escaped, he had expended so much power trying to escape over the years that his captor simply stepped on him and squished him like a mouse.

I think it was called “fear that man”, based on the description on Amazon, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, that’s the kind of God Who can be “scientifically proven’.

The book of Romans, Ch. 1 says

1)that what is know about God is evident within men, for God made it evident to them, v. 19.

2)that since the creation of the world God’s invisible
attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made,
SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE, v. 20.

The problem is that men have supressed the truth in unrighteousness and not honored God as God or given thanks, but instead have become futile in their speculations, resulting in their foolish hearts being darkened, v. 18, 21.

The results of this are described in Romans 1:24-32, like our world today.

3) And God has revealed His wrath from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, v. 18

Hebrews 1:2 says that God has spoken to us IN His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

So, God has given proof of Himself to man:
1) in creation
2) within man
3) in His Son
4) in His Word, the Bible

Those who don’t believe God He calls fools who profess to be wise, v. 22.

Wyoming Institute of Technology was formerly known as Wyoming Institute of Education and Nuclear Energy Research (WIENER). I think that about says it all.

Bob Jones does not profess to be a research university.

It is a solidly conservative Bible College, and liberal arts college.
