I want to puke every time I see those Aztec dancers in Los Angeles at Olvera Street. The Aztecs have nothing to do with the history of California. The Aztecs were never within a thousand miles of Los Angeles, thank God! The Aztecs were blood thirsty murderers who enslaved others. Why the hell is that bishop glorifying them? Cortez was able to defeat Montezuma’s 100,000 + warriors with about 200 Spaniards because the majority of the Mexican population hated the Aztecs. Would a Roman Catholic bishop in Germany celebrate the history of the Waffen SS?

It was afterwards the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary that put an end to such barbaric practices because she appeared both in looks and in dress like a native. This was years after that defeat that you mentioned.

Hi! What is being celebrated by those dressed in costume is the conversion of the Aztecs. As God is joyful, to put it in human terms, when any of His Children, of any place, time, or belief, turn from evil to good! This among other things is the celebration of the end of the Aztec human sacrifice! Let us all pray as God's children, for the end of the human sacrifice known as abortion!
