Wisdom Cries Out-Indiana and Religious Freedom

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.(Proverbs 1:20-23)

To those who have ears to hear, the situation with the Indiana Religious Freedom Act and the Demagoguery that surrounds it is an ominous omen.

It was President Bill Clinton who signed a bi-partisan Religious Freedom Restoration Act in 1993, passed by Charles Schumer, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, and 94 other Senators. There are 19 other states that have since crafted similar state statutes since the 1993 law.

In a stunning display of hypocrisy, those who crafted the original law, feign outrage at Indiana’s law, as if it discriminates against homosexuals, although there is no reference to homosexuality in the law..

The intent of the law was to protect the religious sensibilities of native American Indians, forbidding the Government to compel them to do anything against their own religion, unless it served a” preponderance of need”.

The problem that the left has with the law as it stands, is that it would give legal protection to those whose scruples forbid them to participate in something against their religion such as “gay marriage”.

Thus the celebrity left have come out in full force to denounce the Midwestern State, for daring to offer protection from Law suits such as the ones that destroyed a Christian bakery, and a Christian florist, and threatens to destroy anyone who dissents from the Homosexual agenda.

Politicians such as the mayor of San Francisco, and the Governor of Connecticut take “brave stands” against small Christian businessmen who simply want to opt out of participation in what they perceive as sinful activity. Of course these same politicians have nothing to say about the Muslim persecution of Gays, Christians and even other Muslims not deemed “Muslim enough”,but the small Christian business owners are fair game for these hypocrites.

All of the usual phonies and hypocrites are weighing in,individuals such as Al Sharpton, Charles Barkley, and corporate entities such as the NCAA, Apple computer, Angies List, Nascar,calling for boycotting and divestment of Indiana. You would think Indiana was Iran, where they stone and hang gays.

How did a law crafted to protect religious people from vengeful lawsuits become an anti gay statute that needs to be apologized for, in the mind of the people?

Noun – a person, especially an orator or political leader, who gains power and popularity by arousing the emotions, passions, and prejudices of the people.

2.(in ancient times) a leader of the people. verb (used with object), demagogued, demagoguing.

3. to treat or manipulate (a political issue) in the manner of a demagogue; obscure or distort with emotionalism, prejudice, etc. verb (used without object), demagogued, demagoguing.

With the modern power of the internet, and the Media and the host of other modern communications marvels, combined with an ignorant, uninformed and self-serving “low information” voter base, Demagoguery has never been as effective in history.

Even average, “man on the street” type People are knee jerk reacting against Indiana, hating the Governor, denouncing the state, and acting like it is Apartheid South Africa, for merely enacting protective legislation for its citizens.

*Wisdom is saying we have come full circle and are losing our freedoms at the very basic level.Remember that this is the meaning of America. People came her largely for religious freedom, to avoid coercive government violation of conscience.

* Wisdom is also showing us that because of a steady diet of propaganda and demagoguery, many are succumbing to evil, and are hastening towards damnation.

Not only are they instinctively arguing in favor of the expression of sexual perversion, they are now being conditioned to see those who are good, and would stand for the good, as evil, “haters”.

I sat at a table of confessing evangelical Christians recently and was sharply rebuked by a young woman 30 years younger than me, for saying that the homosexual cannot go to heaven without repentance.

“Who do you think you are to say such a thing! Jesus told us to Love, not Judge! Why is their sin any worse than yours? Jesus loves them also!”Wisdom is warning us of the new , pernicious “love”. Crocodile tears are shed for LGBT people, as they are showered with rights and protections,(much like the Muslims). In the meantime, not a tear is shed for the honest small businessman or woman who has been put out of business by “gay activists” who could just as easily gone down the street and bought their cake elsewhere.

This new “love”, long cultivated in the churches, and which has supplanted and superseded any notions of the fear of God, the hatred of Evil and the trauma of holiness, is rapidly evolving from a sentimental , humanistic , unconditional love, into a corresponding hatred of those who stand for the older notions.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.( 2 Timothy 3:1-5) I believe Wisdom is showing us the new,”ill wind” which is blowing, the hateful “Spirit of this Age” which worships ‘tolerance’ and hates the good.There is a terrible test coming.It won’t be enough to be silent, it seems that the Anti-Christ Spirit would actually force us to confess or participate in what we know is not true and is in fact evil.

That is the meaning of Indiana; they would strip what little protection a Christian has, denying them access to the courts of law, by their demagoguery.

Someday soon, the “loving Christians” will turn on the other Christians, who hate evil and attempt to stand against sin, and in the name of love will denounce us, and turn us over to the crowd as “haters” for simply resisting evil.

Wisdom is crying out, get ready for persecution. Cleave to Christ and his Word, and don’t succumb to the pressure to do, acknowledge or praise evil.

Christians have shown themselves to be basically cowards.

At best, if Christian Americans altogether stayed home from work and simply did not leave their home to spend a solitary dime for 24-48 hours, I believe the nation would shut down, or wish it could.

We Christians are not organized or unified enough to even pull off doing virtually NOTHING in unison.

The same could be said for Republicans, or ex-Republicans, or conservatives. The Tea Party seems to be a shadow of its former “self”. There are so many factions and such bickering that it seems the right will devour itself and the dems won’t have to, although they’ll do it because it’s their nature.

I truly wonder if the right can unify enough to get behind a Cruz presidency or whomever to mount an opposition to the damn dems and their plans for us all. I sure hope so. It’s going to be a rough road. Hope we’re ready to get some momentum and roll. We’re going to need it.

With sooo many candidates and admittedly a deep bench of accomplished players in this election cycle, it will be tough on unity, and because of the polling. No way can we lose in ‘16. People tend to panic and change horses by the week it seems. It’s like we’re in a revolution and our side can’t find their pants.

Christians are becoming demoralized for good reason. I know I am, but self preservation is a strong motivation so I do what I will and wait to see what God has in mind for his people, and what he has in mind for our country. Wisdom ends her prologue to The Proverbs of Solomon with a rather biting summation (9:12):

“If you are wise, you are wise for yourself;
if you scoff, you alone will bear it.”

FWIW, Christians did try to organize 25 years ago to effect change concerning the abortion laws.

Tens of thousands of Christians risked arrest for this very reason....
But with the exception and efforts of mostly Catholic churches and some Evangelical churches, the ‘movement’ stalled and fizzled out because the support wasn’t there.

People were afraid to get involved......afraid of what others would think, afraid of stepping out in faith.
We were on the slippery slope then.....and we are sliding down into the abyss now.

Watch “Killing Jesus” on FOX this weekend. It is a historical movie about his life and it is excellent..I saw it on Sunday. The left is not satisfied with that crucifixion because they fear He is still alive in believers and they must eliminate us from participation in society. They also will not tolerate lifestyle choices which are not exactly like theirs. They are the perfect example of what they accuse Christians of being and I shudder to think of what is coming. The Jews lost all their rights and their property in Nazi Germany, plus millions were put to death. Christians are not organized and that is a big problem. I once read that it takes only 3% of a viciously committed group to take over a nation. I read that the gay community represents anywhere from 1 to 3% of the American population. The problem is that this small group is overly represented in academia, the media, entertainment and government. Christians need to bunker down. It is going to get worse, much worse.

Excellent summary of the state of the mess. The dark side certainly seems to have the upper hand and knows it so is pressing hard to make gains in case the “right” (in more ways than one) somehow gets a clue and starts fighting back. In the meantime, all hell is breaking loose...

Abortion mills have been driven into oblivion, by the steady show of the few saints and many rosaries, who stood and still stand rain, sleet or snow, on every Saturday morning.

The PP offices are still open, and there they stand outside, but the abortion mills have been prayed out of the region.
