The Bible does say that we are to obey those in authority over us (Romans 13:1-8, Acts 5:27, other passages) as a Soldier obeys his Commander until the order disobeys God’s commands.
They could have moved on and preached and proselytized somewhere else.
Note: I have not seen the video of their arrest.
