2017: The Year Of Completion

We are currently in Jewish year 5777, which will end on Rosh Hashanah in the Fall of 2017 - and we are now only days away from 2017, the year in which the heavenly sign of Revelation 12:1-5 may be seen in the sky on September 23rd.

More and more things are lining up in some particularly striking ways that should cause even the stalwart skeptic to pause and take notice - especially in regards to the number seven, which is the biblical number for spiritual completion and perfection.  I've written about this several times (see here, here, and here), but I again find myself needing to update the record as more examples of God's providence and sovereignty are revealed:

On November 8th, 2016, in Jewish year 5777, Donald Trump and Mike Pence defeated Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, going on to win the Electoral College by exactly 77 votes.  The new President-Elect was born 700 days before Israel was reestablished on May 14th, 1948 and was 777 days old, 77 days after Israel's 1948 rebirth.

On December 23rd, 2016, nine months to the day before the Revelation 12 sign, the United States abstained in a key vote in the United Nations Security Council, which allowed for the passing of Resolution 2334.  This resolution condemned Israel for settlements in Judea and Samaria (their God-given land) and upheld the 1967 borders as the foundation of a two-state solution.  It was the first anti-Israel vote in the Security Council that the U.S. failed to veto in many decades.  Two days later, on Christmas Day, a 7.7 magnitude earthquake shook the country of Chile.

On January 15th, leaders and representatives from 70 nations will gather in Paris to decide whether or not to finally force through the two-state solution by recognizing a Palestinian State in the United Nations.  Rumors are swirling that the Obama Administration may try to force through a vote in the Security Council only days before Donald Trump takes office as the next president.

On January 20th, 2017, Donald Trump will take the oath of office exactly 70 years, 7 months, and 7 days from his birthday on June 14th, 1946, becoming the 45th president of the United States.  The names of our new President and Vice President will form a homophone for "trumpets" (Trump + Pence) in the very year that the Revelation 12 sign appears on the Feast of Trumpets.

Donald: Gaelic/Scottish "World ruler" or "Ruler of the world"
John: "Favored by Yahweh"
Trump: A musical instrument, trumpet, or trump card

Michael: Chief archangel in the Bible, prince of Israel
Richard: German "Powerful leader"
Pence: Plural of penny

I'm not sure how to put this all together congruently, but there are some very interesting and obvious things to note from these names, in order:

1. Christ is the coming ruler of the world
2. John was the Apostle who saw and wrote Revelation
3. A trumpet is the instrument summoning up believers (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 1 Corinthians 15:52)

4. Michael is the archangel of Israel and mentioned in connection with the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16) and the tribulation (Daniel 12:1, Revelation 12:7-9)
5. A powerful leader is coming
6. Pence, together with Trump, forms the homophone for "Trumpets"

70 prophetic years of 360 days each from Israel's rebirth will fall on May 12th, 2017.

On May 19th, 2017, 5 days after Israel celebrates its 69th anniversary, Alien: Covenant will be released in theaters - interesting as 2017 could be the very year the spiritual alien in the form of satan and his antichrist confirm a covenant for a period of seven years.

Two weeks later, on June 2nd, Wonder Woman will be released.  Revelation 12:1:

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars...

God's own sign of the "wonder woman" will appear in the sky over Israel several months after this movie is released.

June 7th, 2017 will be the 50th anniversary of the Israeli conquest of Jerusalem.  Leviticus 25:10-11 says that the Year of Jubilee occurs in the fiftieth year, which is the year the captives go free.

August 29th, 2017 will be the 120th anniversary of the First Zionist Congress, the momentous gathering of Jewish leaders that established Zionism as a movement.  In Genesis 6:3 God warned that 120 years remained until the Flood would come.

September 21st, two days before the Revelation 12 sign, and the eve before Tishri 1, International Peace Day will commence at the United Nations with world leaders unanimously calling for "peace and security".  See 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

November 2nd, 2017 will be the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration - the British declaration that paved the way for the Jewish aliyah and the future rebirth of Israel.  Genesis 21:5 tells us that Abraham was 100 years old when the son of promise (Isaac) was finally born.

November 29th, 2017 will be the 70th anniversary of the United Nations vote to establish a Jewish state in Israel.  70 regular solar years will have transpired since that time.  Psalm 90:10 indicates that a generation is 70 years long and Jeremiah 29:10 tells us that the Israelites were in captivity for 70 years.

In the year that could possibly see the resurrection, transformation, and rapture of the saints, Hollywood will be releasing The Mummy, Power Rangers, and Transformers: The Last Knight.

I refuse to touch numerology with a ten foot pole.

That being said, yeah, the signs are all around us. It’s why I don’t consider a Trump win all that big a deal, though it was a nice emotional treat.

I have wondered, for about ten years, about the “this generation shall not pass away” comment in the bible. The bible points out in many places that the lifespan of a generation is roughly 70 years. The first thing I know of, that had to happen within “this generation” is Israel becoming a nation, which happened in 1948.

On a side note, all fans of “The Hitchhiker’s guide” know that the answer to the question of the meaning of life, the universe and everything is 42.

What most don’t know is that according to Matthew’s geneology of Christ through Joseph, that is the number of generations from Abraham to Jesus.

So, it really IS the right answer. :)

You gotta ask if that is why Adams picked that number. ;-)

Anyone prophesying such things would do well to remember Deut. 18:22.

Seventy years of captivity in Babylon. Seventy years of complete independent freedom for Jews back in their homeland beginning on either November 29 1947 or on May 14 1948, depending on how you interpret the start of the restored nation. I see that God may match the length of captivity in Babylon with the time given to the revived State of Israel and either way the completion of that exact time is soon.

backwoods, that date has been calculated through computer simulation apps.

Not sure you would be interested, but I actually saw a ‘portion’ of the sign of the woman and the sun and the moon ‘under her feet’ the last 3 years. (revelation 12:1- and it was an aha moment)

all I used was a computer application and was watching it to see what happens above our heads, at His ‘Feast times’ (the fall for those 3 dates)-given Genesis 1:14..

And those 3 seemingly random gregorian dates meant something to the Father. (and points to revelation of the Word made Flesh-which we should expect since it is detailed in the revelation of Jesus Christ)

Doesn’t mean those 3 days meant something to His people..

which is probably prophetic!

And at His Spring Feasts, His sky declares something too. and has been for thousands of years..

A key He gives that can unlock knowledge that really exposes lots of what we might call ‘traditions of men’..

I am looking forward to seeing how it works out in 2017, if the Lord wills, as in 2014,15 and 16.
It was projected not to come about in 2016 as I had seen in 2014 and 2015.
but, it ended up happening - just in a different part of the day. but still that sign represented in 2016 what it did in 2014 and 2015!

3 years in a row and it changed the way I tell time ever since.
