I have said it before and I will say it over and over --if we are not living in the days which Christ promised to shorten for the sake of the elect, then I fear what is to come. Confusion is rampant, truth has all but disappeared, apostasy is manifest, and even those who are allegedly Christ's shepherds betray him on a daily basis. In the words of a wise and holy priest --"Today if a person doesn't have extensive theological training or at least access to a holy priest they are toast".
FROM THE PROVIDENCE JOURNAL— "Rhode Island’s Islamic community paused yesterday afternoon to mark a milestone: the purchase of a former Catholic school and adjacent gymnasium building to serve as an Islamic elementary and middle school.
The Islamic School of Rhode Island — the state’s first and only — had been renting space from Sacred Heart Church for the last five years. But, on Nov. 19, the Islamic School bought Sacred Heart’s former school and gym for $750,000.
Yesterday, the school held a dinner in the gym to celebrate the purchase. Among the guests was the Rev. Richard A. Bucci, pastor of Sacred Heart, which extended an interest-free mortgage to the school.
Before renting from Sacred Heart, Rhode Island Muslims had to send their children to an Islamic school in Sharon, Mass., or to secular schools in the Ocean State.
The school, on Providence Street, is a two-story building with 17,000 square feet of floor space. The gymnasium building is about 5,000 square feet.

As hard as it can be to accept, but Catholic schools, parish schools trace to Archbishop John Highes and his steadfast belief that his people’s children were being led astray by the overtly Protestant bias of the New York public schools. Therefore it is not hard to grasp that the diocese of Providence and the pastor and parish council of Sacred Heart might understand the muslim community’s desire to educate their young in a non public school.

Sharon,MA has a VERY large Jewish population——an odd place for Muslims.
