Sasse is insufferable. I can’t stand him.

1) Why would a senator give a fig about where and when a talk show host gives a speech?

2) Why is this guy making so much noise lately?

Is he a member of that church?

If not, it’s none of his business.

As Paul said:

1 Corinthians 5:12
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?

I’ll wager that Ben sasse knows not what the pulpit was like in the Colonies circa 1700.

He, Capt. Queeg, Corker, Collins and Murkowski think they are royalty. They can’t stand to be criticized, especially on a Sunday.

Hypocrites the lot.

"He said that it was his conscience, and that conscience is the arbiter of whether what we do is right or wrong. The implication here is that if he feels guilty about something, it must be a sin. If not, not.

Your conscience is your alarm system. A conscience informed by scripture and the Holy Spirit is a better one. If Hannity is a newly-born-again believer, he may not word things the way you would like him to. But I get what he is saying. I've been paying attention to him over the last few years; he is moving in the right direction. He isn't quite the same as he was. He was always a good guy; I think he is going deeper.

Sasse most likely didn’t protest when his left-wing buddies showed up in black churches for the last 20 years, spewing, “Ah ain’t no waze taaard” and similar.

Prominent Roman Catholic public figure goes to Dallas...last time out that didn’t go so well...

...and hits Sunday morning service at First Baptist...bet that’s never happened.

Sasse and Hannity have a Twitter feud that breaks out once a week or so. Sasse is a big Never Trumper, so he viewed this as a double bonus round: take shots at Hannity and a primary Trump religious advisor.

” By the way, we’re talking about Sunday here... (You can be free from politics.)”

Didn’t see that in the Constitution. ...

And quoting your spiritual superiority doesn’t make you more worthy.

“There is none worthy no, not one” and then God never amended that statement.

We went to a Catholic church with my wife’s family this weekend.

The priest joined Sasse in attacking the pastor.

Funny thing is the family (Sasse) is Lutheran. However, they did church hop to get elected a few times.

Self-annointed St. Ben suffers so under his crown of thorns.

He knows so much more than the rest of us about earthly matters that he now feels compelled to tell us how to worship.

What a budding little tyrant he is.

Perhaps Mr. Sasse, who likes to pose as a somewhat scholarly and knowledgeable person about America, might want to further his understanding of America's real history by reading Professor Ellis Sandoz's "Political Sermons of the American Founding Era".

These politicians of both Parties of today either do not know whereof they speak, or they deliberately mislead citizens about their Constitutional rights and liberties.

Another meaningless blast from my senator who lied to us about representing us in order to get elected.

Sasse the Ass.

Anyone on the left is cheered when they enter houses of worship.

Hannity can’t step into a church? And discuss his movie about Christianity? I really doubt he brought up politics.

Oh and I love the touch, that this pastor is “Trump affiliated.” There you go, should be taken out behind the rectory and shot.

I may be in the minority on the post but I completely agree with Ben Sasse.

You're supposed to worship God at least one hour a week. Not interview Hannity about a movie he has produced.

Don't get me wrong, I like Hannity.

But the pastor should have held a separate meeting for the interview instead of cutting into the time due to God.

Many if not all of the people would have stayed for a separate interview, specially if he served lots of doughnuts and coffee after the Sunday service.
