Over the past year, I've seen a shift in our Pastor and our church leadership with them preaching in no uncertain terms that Christians must oppose, defeat and remove anti-Christians and anti-Christian laws/policies from government. Seeker-friendly has been replaced with preaching the TRUTH in love. This is encouraging and refreshing.

For many years, Hollywood produced “morality plays”, movies that depicted immorality and amorality as balanced against morality and virtue. But they never did a good job of it, for the simple reason that the people in Hollywood were themselves immoral, amoral, and spiritually corrupt.
Bring that idea forward to today. Most every major Christian denomination in America has been taken over by leftists who reject traditionalism, morality, and virtue in favor of trendy leftist ideas. In some cases this has resulted in major schisms, the conservatives and traditionalists no longer able to tolerate the corruption and perversity of the “liberal” wings of their churches.
The bottom line is that half or more of churches cannot be redeemed in “revival”, because they have volunteered to be destroyed or fade away. Their sacraments are not the Seven Heavenly Virtues or the Seven Capital Virtues; but are instead the Seven Deadly, or Cardinal Sins.
They have no real blessing, the grounds of their churches is no longer Holy, they no longer abide sacred ritual, just secular and atheist ritual. In many cases they effectively even renounce God.
One sign that it’s getting near the end is that humanity can do things scientifically that it shouldn’t do morally, but it can’t say no to. Like research using fetal tissue.
But all in all, the church in wealthy countries seems to want things both ways and to prefer to go down with the ship. That is why, despite coming from a low-income, very messed up family, I still didn’t go after worldly success at any price although my circumstances have been hard. The price for getting a break from other people was embracing their worldly belief system, by the price for exchanging a life of faith for temporary worldly security was too high.
Without divorce, we are lost.
